I was offered admission to an univ on the 17th and received an email stating the update in my status. It said I had been offered admission for FALL. Just a few hours ago, I got another email stating of an update. I go and check it out, and it says I have 30 days to accept to SUMMER term or my admission will be revoked.

I though universities couldn't do thing like this? They have not even received my latest SAT score? Don't they wait to check applications till they receive all documents.

Thank you for replying.
No, not at all, I have everything done.

Here’s what it says: You are being offered admission and can choose to enroll in the summer term rather than the fall, and then continue enrollment in the fall term.
Choose Accept to accept this summer option (you will have until May 1 to submit your Enrollment Deposit).
If you choose to decline this summer option, you will be denied admission to our university.
Please indicate your response below within 30 days. We reserve the right to cancel this offer if you do not respond, as summer enrollment is limited.

Pick up the phone and call them about this. It looks to me like they are offering you the option of starting in the summer, if you so choose, instead of having to start in the fall. But I could be wrong.

Not very well written on the school’s part. One sentence makes it look like you can optionally choose to start in the summer or fall, while another makes it look like you must commit within 30 days to start in the summer or you will be denied admission.

Thank you both! They told me that I had to send them an appeal. This seems ridiculous to me when they never even waited for my last SAT. But thankfully, the most recent one is above avg for Fall, so it should work.
