Ahh yes they are... Everyone knows not to take the SATs at my school.. the clocks run too fast, the kids really don't care nor do the proctors... I don't know. Everyone always tells me I'm narrow minded then they come to my school and really are just shocked and apologize for calling me narrow-minded. My school is really a ****hole. I hate it but it's the only high-school in this town and I'm a senior already. I tried to change things, and couldn't. Now I'm just trying to get through the year without complaining...

How many other schools do the teachers say, in front of 30 of your peers, "Hah! You're applying to Columbia? What a joke! You'll never get in." -_-

No, no, no... Don't get me wrong. I'm hispanic myself, and I ahve some insanely smart black/polish/any other race friends... I'm just saying that my school, maybe because this city is a port, is just horrble and seems to have a higher concentration of the worse people you can ever find...

Trust me, I know the world isn't like this and that's what ****es me off the most. Whatever, if you want to e-criticize, be my guest. The only good thing I can think of about my school, is that out of the 5000 w/e kids, the 50-150 kids that ARE smart and care about school are all my friends... everyone else's attitudes on life, school, college, work, and how they feel cool because they got their girlfriends pregnant, just disgusts me.

what was the context for worsened, i dont remember that one, really, i don't remember any of them, i was goin fast, cause the proctor called first 20 mins, 16.5 minutes into it. Test ended 2.5 mins early :(

like i said before go complain and bicker to College Board if your really passionate.

if you want more funding for schools go talk to your local state reps and state senators, and your federally elected officials to give you more money.

unfortunately, things look very bleak for school funding but its worth a shot.

Yes I remember putting a ";" somewhere in the MC section... It was a big run-on and the only logical answer was ";" I can't remember what the sentence was though...

The school has funding they chose to spend it on "Saturday classes" and fixing the football team (which is funny because the football players can fail every class, not go to school, and still graduate as long as they win...). I know the turf last year cost like 20mil...

The only way I know how to explain this aspect of my school is like this: NJ has a HSPA test. If you don't pass it you can't graduate. The HSPA is supposed to just make sure you've learned the appropriate things over the years. So, my school, knowing that they really don't teach adequate material, teaches kids how to pass the HSPA, instead of just really letting a teacher do their job and teach a class. I remember I had to do 3 months of HSPA prep and it was all basic algebra... I scored 272, 270 (math/verbal) and I fell asleep in the middle of verbal. It was such a joke, but STILL only 51% of the 1000 or so juniors last year passed it...

i think so i did a google search using "some insight on" and got 100 000 pages. then i did "some insight into" and got 300 000 pages. I also thought that insight into is wrong. I hope the world is full of idiots ;)
