<p>Just stop by. It’s a nice gesture to send an email if you have a lengthy question or the prof is unreliable about being there, but the point of office hours is that this is time they’ve set aside to meet with students. They will probably be delighted you came by!</p>
<p>Depends on the professor. They will state which they prefer.</p>
