This test seems a bit easier than the one I took last year, but some people have told me that the primaries question was kind of shocking.

^How so? In what way was the primaries question shocking?

Well, they thought the question was a bit out of the blue, and they hadn’t really studied for it. But they felt they did well enough.

My gov teacher just came back from the grading the ap test and she said on one part of question four the averge was .9 out of six points.

Is US Government okay enough to self-study? I want to self-study it along with AP Comp Gov next year as a junior. Is that at all advisable? I don’t really have any knowledge in Politics, but I do have a fair bit of interest. I know that sounds crazy, but I know just about nothing about Politics but it’s still interesting to me, haha.
Thanks! :)

I didn’t find the primaries question that suprising or difficult. We are coming up on the 2012 primary season and the 2008 democratic primary season was pretty unforgettable so they probably thought people would be aware of primaries.

@PhoenixxTears- I’d say AP US Gov is fine to self-study. That’s what mine got to be, and I got a 4 as a sophomore. I took the class, but we did nothing. I ended up teaching myself EVERYTHING for the exam, so that’s why I say I basically self-studied it. Literally, we sat in class and talked, told stories, listened to music, etc…not government-related stuff in anyway…worst AP class I’ve had that way.
