That would mean 2005 was 100 less than twice 1998.

These questions are the math in English version problems. “is” always indicates an equals sign, words like more indicate addition, of indicates multiplication.

g(2005) is 100 more than twice of g(1998)
g(2005)= 100 + 2g(1998)

So what do you guys think a -4, -5 on the math section is? This makes me SO mad that I feel this way cause math is supposed to be my highest subject, and this test just made me feel BLEH because of the way some of the questions were worded :/

Am I the only one that thought that the inverse square question asked for the amount of force at half the original distance? I thought the force was 12 and thus half would be 3, did everyone see them say double?

it looks like i missed 5-7, what do you think it will be with this years curve?

They say it was possible to do all questions without a calculator… How could you do the rhombus question without a calculator, since you had to know the sine of 40? I mean I got the answer right (I think)- two hundred some- but how would you do that one? Have I missed/forgotten some trig thingy?

Did any of you guys get the weird DISTANCE PROBLEM? They gave you parts of circles all put together and asked what the distance (originally 100) would be from one point to another if you went over the perimeter of the circles. I got K. It was something like 230 pi

And I agree with the above. Triangle problem: 1/2

Yeah, you’re right, it was 8 root 3. 200 some was something else I’m sure.

The ratio of diameter to circumference is pi, so you had to multiply pi by 100 (or whatever the regular distance was), and then divide by two, I think. I might be mistaken again.

100 is the diameter total, divide that by 2 (semiccircles) and multiply it by pi for the other part of the circumference. So thats 100 pi/2, aka 50 pi so yea. I’m an early admissions engineering student. So you can trust my geometry skills.

I just broke the rhombus up into triangles and Sky I did it by hand and got (3/5) and plugged into calc to check and got -19/10 but did a few more times and ended up with 3/5

@RexT95 Which one are you talking about with -19/10 and 3/5? Was it the simplifying one where -5 was plugged into x? I ended up putting -19/10 because I had originally given up doing it by hand and made a blind guess but went back at the end and plugged it into my calculator. = ( I was so sure, seeing as I used double and triple parenthesis for extra caution!
