**OFFICIAL** 2013-2014 AP Biology Thread

@schakrab‌ i don’t think so. they were looking for something persistent and heritable that would cause change in the genome and subsequent protein products. a transcription error is too isolated and limited to be considered actual genetic variation.

and i think i know what you mean. i made something that looked like this

l
o

l

for each point (scatterplot)

Form O was pretty hard, a lot harder than the 2013 practice exam, especially on FRQs

@skyisover‌ I’d like to know the same thing. I’m hoping there are different curves.

What did you guys get for the coral question? I put an increase in atmospheric co2? Also, did anyone else thing the MC was way harder than the frq’s? I am sort of afraid I might get a 4. I think I missed a few on the MC, and although the FRQ’s were easy, i don’t think there’s any way I did TOTALLY perfect. Thoughts?

did anyone have form D?? i always get form O but this time I got form D so all the google doc discussion just doesnt apply to me. if you did have form D please discuss it with me here: <a href=“Live video chat rooms, simple and easy. - Tinychat”>Live video chat rooms, simple and easy. - Tinychat; cuz im going crazy lol

do the different forms have different MC questions and FRQs or just FRQs

both i think

can anyone confirm grid in chi square numbers as 888, 327, 91, 294 with a chi square value of 3.52?

*3.22

@spazzer4501 why 3.22 though? i can’t remember what i put. but i just redid that calc with the numbers above and got 3.52.
maybe my memory is off with the numbers

@Remembrance‌ everyone in my room got 3.22 or 3.24. run the numbers through again if you’re not sure
expected is 900, 300, 300, 100.

Yeah I got 3.22 too…the 294 was actually 291 and the 91 was actually 94 so that is why you got the wrong value now lol

For form E we had to do a bar graph (they asked for a bar graph) and it was all about how changing pH affects enzymes…we didn’t have any chi square problems either. This seems incredibly skewed…wonder how they’re going to do the curve.

OH MY GOD. YOU LUCKY BASTARDS THAT GOT THE DIFFERENT FORM :(…

moving form d to here: <a href=“Live video chat rooms, simple and easy. - Tinychat”>Live video chat rooms, simple and easy. - Tinychat;

I can’t believe how radically different the forms were…there’s no way they can have the same curve, can they?

chi square was 3.22… was the answer to the first grid-in just 1/4? I could’ve sworn the woman was heterozygous for the A blood type

Can someone please explain the curve, and whether or not we get points if we got the questions that don’t count correctly? Thanks

@icyhotgel‌ yes.

Thanks @Ipreston ! What’d you guys put for the coral reef question? And nonspecific immune responses were: skin and inflammation right?
