<p>I didn’t complete the transferable math class by Fall 2012 and according to UCSB, that is extremely frowned upon. My GPA is slightly above the average admitted for my major. We’ll see. It’s not looking good though.</p>
<p>@mer hm, I did not do English 103 until this semester however I am not worried at all. I think you will be fine.</p>

<p>Yeah I have heard that before. Maybe a dumb question, but when you say the transferable math, do you mean the basic math or a math specifically for your major?</p>

<p>Just found out through Assist that I am short of one required class. I went through the list of the top pre-reqs classes for top schools like UCLA, UCB, UCSD, etc… so I assumed that UCSB is following the same list. Well, I was wrong. Wasted 80 bucks for not doing my homework properly. I will get rejected.

<p>@jr The transferable math and last English class on IGETC. They want that completed by Fall or you won’t be a competitive applicant.</p>

Have you completed any other transferable math class besides that? If not then yes you would be at a disadvantage</p>

<p>Mechanical Engineering. From Mt. San Jacinto College. I am short of three actually, Engineering 3, and Mechanical Engineering 14, 16. Unlike UCDavis that said if my CCC does not offer the classes, I am required to take those after admission. It seems UCSB required those 3 to be completed for admission.</p>
