it was still a right shift though. no matter what BPG the question was asking about, right disaccharide?

I believe the question said something like this:

For the next n questions, put true or false. Which of these causes increased unloading of hemoglobin?

k. 1, 3 DPG

It might have been true but the reason I put false is because it does not directly cause increased unloading.

we know that 2,3 causes R–>T. But you’re saying some of us misread the question and it actually said 1,3 BPG?

NO. he’s saying the question claimed it was 1,3 but in actuality its the 2,3 that does it so the answer was false

I think 1,3 DPG DOES cause increased unloading. Here: " Low oxygen levels trigger a rise in 1,3BPG levels which in turn raises the level of 2,3BPG which alters the efficiency of oxygen dissociation from hemoglobin."

and you know where i got that from

and doesn’t bohr shift specifically refer to unloading due to decreased pH?

Ok, I’m gonna have to agree with chessnbio on this one despite the fact that I guessed falsr but I think we should drop this since we’'re getting nowhere and move on to a different question

^agreed

wait
why the heck would they ask about 1 3 bpg
who even knows 1 3 bpg
what is this
wat wat

when do results come out again?

april 16th. did anyone notice how many reused questions there were? as in a lot

really? i only saw like 5…idk if that counts as a lot or not…

I only saw like two… What were the repeats?

any chance that scores will be released early?

remember the one about bidirectional depolarization and action potentials? those were repeats. also there were a bunch of others that they either worded differently or modified.

What did you guys get for the following questions:

What plant would be in the pelagic zone? ( this was a question right?) it had choices that were phytoplankton, water lillies etc

What were the answers to the IPSP question?

The pelagic ecosystem is based on the phytoplankton which occupy the start of the foodchain.

<a href=“Pelagic zone - Wikipedia”>Pelagic zone - Wikipedia;

Do you guys know the answer to the plant nutrition question with the deficiency of chlorophyll and root strength and such?

And, what were the answers to the IPSP question of the post synaptic nueron?

the hibernation question which asked what all hibernating animals do not do?

And, the question about what no fish does while swimming? (the breathe above water question)

What amino acid moved 5.5 on the chromatography paper test?

How much light do photosynthetic organisms take from the suface area of the earth?
