Does anyone else think this math was more difficult than usual? Last time I got a 35, but this time I think I did significantly worse… I know I missed the inverse one, the ?rhombus? one (still am confused on that, but I put rhombus and apparently that is wrong), and probably the one about angle 3a but I don’t remember for sure. And I probably missed another one for a silly error. I’m looking at about a 30 for the math section… which is pretty disappointing, since math is usually fine for me.

@amplified the curve will be at least -1 for a 36, so if you only missed 3 or 4 you probably didn’t get a 30. More like a 32 or higher

What were the numbers in the pyramid problem?

What do you guys think -15 on math would be?

@SgtGutter I’m pretty sure the triangles’ diagonals were 12 while the square’s sides were 10. You would do 1/2(10)(12) x 4. Then add 100 from the area of the square to get a total of 340.

was the slant height in the pyramid question given?

If you mean the 12, then yes.

The math had some hard questions but luckily I had just(I mean the Friday before) learned how to do some of the problems.

I got the rotate 120 degree one and the other hard ones (the 120 degree one is 1 if anyone was wondering… rotate it, create a right triangle, use parallel lines to find lots of angles and then you have a 30-60-90 and the bottom side is the segment on the x-axis)

But I put rhombus for the equal diagonals T_T

I even proved that it was rectangle on the test

But I put rhombus :P

Don’t know what I was thinking

Dude you really have to stop going to every ACT thread bragging about how good you think you did. Not cool. Not COOL.

ugh i messed up the trig question, and the question about finding the horizontal asymptote. what was the answer for the horizontal asymptote anyway?

Y=2, I believe, is the consensus.
