It was towards the end, algebra based, paragraph type question. It may not have been asking about price but I remember two of the answers were 850 and 2000 and something. I wanted to do the geometry questions first (weird i know) so I skipped it and came back. Time was called and I circled 850…

We should probably try to repeat the questions, so other students can agree/ disagree.

Thanks Kongo

Also square root of 13 for the radius question anybody?

Was 24n C? And wasn’t the period 3pi? I drew it with my pencil and you only needed 3pi to draw the whole graph

^I got that too gleek96!

Pencils Question: School buys 5 pencils for $.90. School sells 3 pencils for $.80. How many pencils have to be sold for a $100 profit?

Someone make a science thread!

For the pencil one, I just could not get the right answer. Could someone look over my work and tell me where I went wrong? School buys 5 pencils for 0.90$, sells 3 for 0.80$. .80/3 - .90/5 = profit. Then I divided that 100 by that.

Diddly, the period was 4 pie { according to most of the students on the site and myself }

Was the radius 5? Points were (3,-1) and (6,3) I believe.

Was 24n C? Anyone???

For the trig one at the end about law of sines, what did you all get?

The radius one was 5, it used Pythagorean Theorem.

Diddly, I believe 24n was c!

The circle radius sphere problem wasn’t rt13, it was 2rt3

YAY I GUESSED C BECAUSE I HAD ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA. YAY FOR RIGHT GUESSES!!! lololol

Kongo, were those the end points… i forgot. If those points were the midpoint and an endpoint, then you are right

SinQ/PR = Sin25/QR

Idk what PR and QR are

@mereluvs2run 'twas 4 pi. look up teh definition of a period.

@mereluvs2run
The answer was definitely 4pi, its from one crest to another
