F-T-S… Stupid reading…

Hey guys.
Hold up here. So the composite score given now is THE score that will be given to colleges, yes? So the writing/english combined score is just like a separate score thats just there?

33 composite

33 english
33 math
32 reading
34 science

no they see everything panky… (probably not the subscores… i’m not sure). I’m pretty sure they see all of the sections + writing.

They see everything, but it doesn’t factor into your combined score. Your combined score is what it is right now.

Yes, the writing/English score is probably the least important score on your score report. They receive all the information, but it rarely holds any ground with them. Some colleges choose to look at each subject area (Eng, Math, Sci, Reading) as well as the composite, but very often the composite holds most of the importance

anyone as unbalanced as me?
31 composite

35 english
35 math
27 reading
26 science

Ok. Sounds good! And quick question. When they say 314 people got 36’s across the nation (on previous tests of course), that means 36’s all across the board, yes?

So an average of 35.5 that become a 36 composite wouldn’t count in those 314, correct?

Why wouldn’t it?

It displays the composite score AS 36.
So I would assume that they would count it as a 36.

No, it would. When they say that 314 people around the nation got a composite score of 36, it makes no difference whether it’s a 35.5 or a 36. That is still the composite equivalent of a 36.
