Well, since all of the other threads about the Sept. 16th ACT have so much other stuff, I figured we can post our scores on here once they become available at around 6 AM tomorrow. For all of the other freaks out there like myself, let's make it a race to see who finds out first and posts their score first (unless, of course, it sucks) :D .

ok, first I just want to say something.
When reading previous threads just like this, there are always people going, "Why is everyone getting 30+, and I have a 28?" (sad face here)
Well, before someone in that situation starts to feel bad(and considers himself/herself a failure) I'd like to say this.

Say if you got a REALLY good grade, 30+ or whatever, wouldn't YOU want to post it?
And say if you got a bad grade,(I wont put any ranges), you probably wouldn't want to post it, right?

And how someone say Joe Blogg sees the scores on this thread? He sees A LOT OF 30+s but barely any scores in the low/average ranges. And if he got say a score of (whatever) he feels like a failure.

BUT REMEMBER, you are only seeing a SMALL, TOP sample of the scores, NOT ALL OF THEM.

I agree with darkzeroman...CC is a haven for high scorers, but even then it's not like everyone scores great, so if you get a lower score don't let it get you down. I'd just like to say that the ACT is the best test to study for and you have a lot of control over your score by studying, so if you didn't do as well this time, study hard and you can raise it. I'm proof...went from 29 to 32 to ????

Yes, very. I can't stand those kinds of people!

Actually, I'm retaking b/c I knew I could do better. Last time I took I bombed the science because I answered the last section and a half by guessing b/c I ran outta time. So I guess when you KNOW for a fact that you could have done better, then you have to give it one last shot.

i got a 32 and im retaking, but really its not cause like im some kind of conceited arrogant he-devil, its just that i only took it once and most of my friends took it like 3 times so i decided hey why not? its a pretty quick test and it wasnt that big of a deal...anyways, im almost sure i didnt get a 32 this time, but ill let you all know tomorrow! wish me luck!

btw good luck to everyone out there no mtter what your target score is, whether trying to jump from a 34 to a 36 or from a 21 to a 23, just remember, its one stupid 4 hour test and really proves nothing about you (imo).

I'm jittery right now waiting for the scores. I got a 31 last time increased from 28 and am shooting for a 32-34 for the Sept. Test. It's just that when I left the test center, I really didn't feel good about my scores so I'm really pessimistic about tomorrow but who knows, I didn't feel too good about my 31 either. Good luck to everyone.

One point away from a 35, but I'm not bitter because it was my first time and I'm already registered to take the October test. Good luck everyone!

Well! My English went down 3 points (so it was obviously harder b/c I almost always score near perfect on English), reading went up 2 pts, science went up 4 points (since I didn't run outta time), and math went up 3 points since I wasn't crunched for time. But even if I had gotten a 35 on English like last time, my score would still be 34. I'm very happy and done with the ACT. :D
