I felt like I was guessing on almost all of the multiple choice. Hoping there’s a good curve.

i thought the multiple choice was okay, but the free response was so different from anything i studied from (old ap exams) and PR book. How many points total is the free response? if i only got ~50 multiple choices right, how many right on the fr do i need? like percent or points wise?

100/150 is a 5 about.
MC is 75 pts
FR is 75 pts

There are different forms, but they should all have the same difficulty. This means that some forms could have easy MC and difficult FRQ, while others might have difficult MC and easy FRQ. Depends on what form you got. FRQs are usually between 8 to 9 points, except one section that is 15 points, I believe.

I had the form with the organic stuff on it, and I thought that was the easiest of the FRQs.

See, I didn’t have organic. There are different versions :/

I don’t even remember

The FRQs totally slaughtered me. I felt ok on the MC, but my confidence was deflated after the FRQ section. LOL.

I don’t know how people are saying the FRQs were easy! The multiple choice, for me, was easy and I definitely think I got over a 70%. But the free responses made me want to rip my hair out! I definitely studied and am at the top of my AP Chem class and I know my stuff really well. But free responses #1-3 were unbelievable for me. I know we’re not “supposed” to discuss it, but I literally had NO IDEA how to do number 1, 2, and 3. I maybe got 1-3 points on each one. I know theirs going to be a curve, but I think bombing Part A would really affect my score. So there goes my 5! Do you guys agree? If I did we’ll on MC and Part B but did terrible on Part A FRQ, my score would definitely not be a 5…right?

RadiantNora: I definitely agree. FRQs #1-3 were horrible for me. #3-6 were not as bad, but were still difficult. I’m not sure about your score, but you can check this out to get an idea of what you might get: [AP Pass - AP Chemistry Calculator](AP Chemistry Test Score Calculator - AP Pass).

I think I’m getting a 4 Ughhhhh I really really wanted a 5. Maybe it’ll be 90/150 for a 5. I know its unlikely, but I’m hopeful.

Guys, do not discuss MC/FRQs here. People have gotten all of their AP exam scores cancelled for stuff like this.

To clarify, released/practice exams are okay, the ones you took today = not okay.

I wish they gave 6s because id have gotten one. So damn easy.

Don’t worry We’re not bringing up topics…but we are allowed to discuss how difficult we thought it was

We can discuss the tests but we can’t talk about the exact questions.

So yeah I really don’t know how this curve thing works. If the average for question one was like a 2, would they base the curve off of that? Because from the ap pass website, my score is like a 90-100 if I graded myself easy-harshly, so I’m basically thinking ill be a little too far from a 5. But I’m surprised because I inserted a grade of 2 for the first 3 questions and it said I would still get a high 4!

The MC section was slightly harder than average, and the FRQs were significantly harder than average. I expect a very lenient curve. FRQs 1 and 3 were especially tricky and will probably trip people up the most.

Goddammm, my first frq was so hard. The rest were okay. Hoping for a 5.

That test was insane! It was so hard. I really felt so disappointed after the test. At first, I was hoping for a five and expecting a four. Now, I totally see a 3 as a possibility. The test was just so bad. Free Response was murderous. If I make a five… I would flip out.

At what time will the Free response questions be released?
