***OFFICIAL AP Environmental Science 2015 Thread***

Yeah I have a teacher who didn’t go through everything

@PinkMist Feel free to pull an all-nighter if you want, but if you don’t get enough sleep you won’t be able to function well next morning. As for me, I’m watching some review videos on YouTube and focusing on the major concepts. I also took a Barron’s diagnostic exam last night but didn’t do so well

@eXtremous @NectarInASieve I know how you guys feel all too well :frowning: I received a 42 on the Barron’s diagnostic exam and it said I needed at least a 50 to pass. Not a great boost for my confidence.

@icequeenforever all Barron MC and tests are literally the hardest things ever imo, haha

Oh and by the way @NectarInASieve it’s 11:42 PM here in Florida. I’m in total panic mode here

@NectarInASieve That’s not too bad. I had my teacher leave halfway through the year and we got a sub who was actually a better teacher. Unfortunately, we didn’t make it to at least 3/4 chapters about energy.

@icequeenforever yep, got a 47/100 for practice test 1, 62/100 for practice test 2.

Also, I found a fb group for everyone here who has a fb. You can join and APES teachers/students will answer your questions.

Spaces are where periods would be

@eXtremous I agree. The Barron’s AP World was total torture last year…but anyway, I digress. Back to AP Environmental, AKA the rehashing of AP Human and Honors Bio with some laws thrown in sigh

@icequeenforever I have everything Barron for all my AP’s - world, lang, environmental :frowning:

@eXtremous Trust me, Princeton Review is so much better. And it’s not just because of the school, ha ha. PR is much more concise and speaks to you like you’re actually a living, breathing teen. Although I must admit that Barron’s has more information. But as for APES, Barron’s is getting some really negative reviews. It’s the only book I have with me though :frowning:

@eXtremous Oh yay you’re taking Lang too! We can freak out about that test in about a week

Is anyone else gonna be pulling an all-nighter?

@PinkMist Do all-nighters usually work for you? Just wondering.

Think I’ll go over my answers on the Barron’s diagnostic exam. I might be back if I don’t fall into dreamland. In the meantime, good luck everyone!

@icequeenforever same here, lol. 12:14 AM. Feel like I’m still going to fail,

@icequeenforever hooray for lang! Not really… :frowning: have world and lang one day apart. good luck and get a good night’s rest!

I didn’t even bother taking any Barron’s exams because of how superfluous and trivial the questions and FRQs were. I do, however, believe that Barron’s is an excellent resource for studying! I love the graphs and organization of the book. I only took CollegeBoard practice tests. I think that I will do a few FRQs, eat some ice cream, study pollution/chemicals, and the water unit and call it a night. My APES teacher is having a big breakfast for all of us tomorrow!!

Do you guys have class t-shirts?

Lang club over here!!! I do terrible on lang practice tests so I’m hoping that my essays could be good enough for a 4.

LOL I did the 1998 exam and considering my MC score, I could get 8/40 on the FRQ according to the grade calculator. to get a 4 on the exam…I’m out.
