did anyone else have form E? i thought it was BRUTAL. first question was a difficult LR circuit, and the last question was this crazy gauss law problem. i didn’t realize gauss law could be so difficult until i got to that question, i just stared at it for the rest of the time. fortunately though the second question one was relatively easy. crossing my fingers for a huge curve…

@samson920 - i agree
@blastopore - was the guass law a cylinder? and was the lr circuit the one that asked you for the time constant graph? If so, i had that one, and it was brutal indeed.

On a separate note. I didn’t know we would have to solve a dif equation on mechanics. Was not prepared… must admit, the equation was pretty once completed.

I self-studied physics C mechanics only for a week before the exam. I thought it was because of that that I got destroyed on the exam. Glad everyone else did, hoping for a big curve!

Form O e&m was terrible. You really couldn’t do the rest of the second free response if you got stuck on part ii. The third one wasn’t much better. And what was up with the multiple choice? It was not like any practice tests I’ve found. I had form E for mechanics which was ok. Did anyone else have different forms for the different tests?

I got wrecked by E&M… mechanics was pretty good, not gonna lie

Anyone have Form G for E&M? I don’t see anyone who has on this forum yet

After taking form O mechanics and E&M…lets just say I’m no longer a virgin…

I don’t remember which form I had for E&M but it was the one with the “slab” in the third question and the LR circuit in the first. HORRIBLE. I had form O for mech. Also horrible.

wait so do they curve different forms differently?

And was Mech Form O FRQ: 1) Glider on a rail with a spring, 2) Differential eq about sliding block, and 3) weird rope one with a disc block?

Was E and M Form O FRQ: 1) Gauss’s law about a long cylinder, 2) LR circuit about time constant, 3) B(t) graph and finding current and power etc. ?

Disclaimer: Dear college board, I am simply restating and asking information already found in this thread. I am not actually discussing these FRQ questions.

Form O mechanics. I thought the open-ended were easy (relatively speaking), but the multiple choice?..
Well damn.
I probably guessed on 5-10 of them, and that’s not counting the ones I probably got wrong. If I did as well on the open ended as I think I did, I probably got a 5. But idk, we’ll see. =P

That was brutal.

But then again, I only need slightly above a 60% to get a 5, so…I have a good shot.

Dear god. I’ve done all of the practice FRQ and I’ve nailed all of em. However, today’s questions… I have no words… T_T May the curve be strong with this one

I had form G E&M
1 - current squared, weight
2 - rc circuit
3 - gauss’s

I had form O for both. I felt like Mech was really easy except for finding the moment of inertia in that one FRQ but form O E&M I literally just made up answers for the second and third frq’s and tried to right any relevant equations i could find on the sheet and the mc was terrible as well but I did only start learning E&M a week ago

those with form O, don’t worry because the tests are for sure curved differently.

praying for a generous curve…completely bombed form O mechanics…and form E e&m’s multiple choice…

@heyhey2 are you sure each form has a different curve?

They have to because the curve is generated by how well the takers of the test do

The second question on E&M for form O was impossible.

were the questions I had for form O right? can you please answer me?
