No I mentioned what it is just nit explicitalvely stating but what would the scores be

The Horace Mann was about why he advocated public education, I put to educate people to be better citizens but I might be wrong.

what was the exact GI Bill question?

@jose, you’re right. I’m only up to three/four wrong now so far, so I’m pretty happy about that :D

@set, I’m pretty sure it was the GI bill aiding veterans in all of these ways EXCEPT

:(, it was automobile loans, ^Minus 2-3 here :)

WAITTT GUYs are they going to be lenient with grading the essays like does anyone know how that works

they only have a couple minutes to spend reading each essay, and they understand that you’re under duress when you’re writing. not sure how much that translates to “leniency,” though. if you’re curious, you can go on the CB website and read scoring guidelines, sample essays, and explanations for scores from past years: [AP Central - The AP United States History Exam](<a href=“Supporting Students from Day One to Exam Day – AP Central | College Board”>Supporting Students from Day One to Exam Day – AP Central | College Board)

My teacher told me that the readers only spend about 90 seconds reading each essay, and that an excellent intro can make up for crappy body paragraphs. I believe we all did better than we think we did. The 3rd week in July is gonna feel like forever.

Apparently we can miss 64/80 and get 4’s on all essays and still get a 5. Im definetly getting a 5

Guys i got like 60 MC right!! I’m so excited! I did fairly well on my DBQ and FRQ (6/7/8 range), but for one of the FRQ i made a slight historical error. I talked about kansas-nebraska when it was in 1854 and they asked about before 1850. Do you think I’ll get a lot off for that? Also is this all enough for a 5? Thanks for the help

kitkatxoo - Your score only goes up, it cannot be lowered, so a minor inconsistency/mistake won’t hurt you that much. I believe you may get a high 4-low 5.

I’m pretty sure you’ll get a 5 easily kitkat

Thanks guys!! ^.^

Hey. If you answer a compare/contrast question, doesn’t have to be for the APUSH exam, but if you answer one, and you didn’t go into any real or much detail on the compare side of it, how much points do you lose? Even if you went into great detail overall with lots of information, but you didn’t express much about the compare.

@Old: I think it depends on the subjects being compared. Some things might be completely different, and so it would be proper to make more contrasts and few, if any, comparisons. Of course, it’s always good to balance when it’s possible - but that’s not always the case. So, really, it’s hard to say how much points you would lose without more context.

Anyone got a copy of the compiled questions list from before? The owner canceled it cause some jerk kept deleting the questions

“Anyone got a copy of the compiled questions list from before? The owner canceled it cause some jerk kept deleting the questions”

Yeahhhh I need that Questions list as well…so far I got 56/80 of the MC correct…

(Please if you do, send it to my E-mail: markdjmc@ a o l . com thanks!)

If you write only about the National Origins Act of 1924 and the Quota Act of 1922 for the immigration in the 20s and do pretty well for the prohibition part, what would you give the FRQ overall?

I had different essay topics and some different mc than most of you guys are talking about. I know there is a form B but I thought that that was administered at a different time. Is this anything to worry about? I had Form F.

@Joseq841 - “The Horace Mann was about why he advocated public education, I put to educate people to be better citizens but I might be wrong.”

No you are right. Horace Mann advocated public education as a way to turn average people into citizens that were disciplined, and judicious republicans.
