Okay, I just logged on and was able to access the portal. My student tax return has the waived date listed as today, so if anyone’s portal is down, admissions is likely just finalizing financial aid documents.
@dbjs70 Here’s to hoping…
UPS is United Parcel Service (the people with the brown trucks) and USPS is the United States Post Office (regular old U.S. mail that comes in your mailbox). Nothing received here today in San Francisco.
Nothing received here today in Pittsburgh.
No letter today in eastern PA
Nothing in NJ… not that it matters if PA isn’t getting it
If not received in Pittsburgh today, then the rest of us may not see them till Saturday.
Priority mail in western PA should be one day service. The question is, is that the next day after mailing, or two days after mailing. Thus, most of the rest of the US would be three days from mailing.
And now I get the portal unavailable message…
^Do you think the fact that they’re still working with our FA materials is good news?? Decisions were made a little wile ago, you’d think they wouldn’t bother with those who were rejected. Or maybe it’s just policy to keep each file up to date regardless of decision outcome…
Mine also says that my tax return was waived today… but I recall it being waived earlier. Maybe they updated it somehow.
LOL I searched up things for CMU on Twitter to see if anyone got accepted yet. I only saw stuff about CMU referring to Central Michigan University.
none my student tax return and parent tax return are waived yet dear lord
@neverbefore, good idea…and as far as the FA stuff goes…who knows. I recall the 2019 thread folks were seeing stuff update as far as aid offers went, but I don’t think there was every confirmation that those updates correlated to acceptances.
I just tried portal again and it opened up. No change under the FA button.
I’m assuming everyone got the “Admission Decision Reveal Online” reminder by email yesterday…
Actually 2 days ago/ or yesterday
@neverbefore My student tax waiver got a status update today too. Weird, I guess they re-looked at our financial aid documents… which makes me wonder. Why would they look at our finiancial aid documents again? Unless…
Can anyone try this…? I think it works now
https://cas-webapp.andrew.cmu.edu/waitlist
@design2020 Says I’m not on waiting list or something
@emilyskates okei. I think that means it works haha…cries
@design2020 Why? Does it say you are on a waitlist?
Did anyone get in today?
@NICE8x yep. I want to put my first choice on priority waitlist then, but idk if I should wait til tomorrow when results are officially out
