<p>can i switch my major? I sent in my application already and I really want to switch my preference in majors… is there anything i can do?</p>
<p>I’m sure there’s a way to do it earlier, but I’m not sure how. Just wait until your summer orientation to switch majors unless it’s a major that may require a waiting list (for example- James Madison).</p>

<p>sailor, that’s a bit odd. What does your status say on the application page? I’m not entirely sure if MSU has staff in tomorrow, but I would suggest calling tomorrow if you can. The only delay I could see happening was because of the holiday, but that’s still a pretty long wait.</p>
<p>I dont feel like I am borderline either, ACT is a 29 with a 34 in math (I’m going for engineering) and a GPA of 3.45 with 8 APs and 12 Honors…</p>

<p>As far as switching majors, it’s easy. Go here and send them an email under “change of major” request. If you are not switching into a residential college, there shouldn’t be any problem at all.<br>

<p>Hi everyone! I just wanted to ask you guys something because I’m so confused and frustrated…Before I ask, I’m an international student, I had 3.63 GPA and 23 ACT and
my major will be Advertising.
I check the status of Michigan state university more than three times a day.( that’s how nervous I am…I want to go there so badly!) But didn’t seemed like it changed or anything.
It only said that they received my application.
Thankfully, when I checked it again on December 30th, it said that a decision was made on 12/30/2009. It said that it was mailed it to me, and will take 7-10 business days for me to receive it. So I was waiting and waiting…I do undertstand that it included holidays so it might take longer, but I still checked my status anyways.
Well, Today I checked my status and guess what it said? “A decision was made on 1/06/2010. Awaiting for I-20 to process.” (BTW, I-20 is a visa I receive when I get admitted by a school.) What? I was confused, so I called school and all they said is that I should wait and will receive the mail soon.
I don’t know what’s going on! Help me guys!</p>
