I don’t think I’ve ever posted on this thread before, but I felt compelled to express my frustration at the fact that I have yet to receive a decision. When I woke up today and heard that some people had gotten their admissions decisions at midnight, I freaked out, but alas it is 6 o’clock and I’ve got nothing.

I would pose the question, “is anyone freaking out?” but I already know the answer to that question.

didnt submit until october 30th and they didnt receive all my materials until november 13th…so i guess i couldn’t really expect a decision this soon anyway…maybe later today or next week i guess…

I couldn’t agree with you more roseknows. I mean, I’m sure there’s a random element to when they post these decisions and yes, I try to feel glad for everyone else, but I’m getting pretty POed over here. This is unbearable.

I share your sentiments. I’ve been lurking on this thread for three weeks or so and it’s very exciting when people get accepted, especially when they’re posters that I think are particularly nice or deserving of getting in. It’s extremely nerve-racking to know that I haven’t received a decision yet, because I believe that I’m qualified. There are people at my school who are getting in with very low ACT scores (6 points lower than mine,) and I can’t help but wonder what is going on.

We’re projecting a decision by next Friday over on the Columbia ED board. The sting of a likely rejection would somehow be lessened if I at least know that I got in SOMEWHERE. I always thought the benefit of Early Reponse at U-M was to receive an admissions decision before hearing from other schools, but at this rate, I’ll probably hear from Columbia first.

[/ul]Other Factors: Applied on 10/26 but got the TOEFL in on 11/11. Apparently the admissions officer said that I’m not qualified for ER… i dunno what happened. General Comments: I must assume that UM superscores since my single set scores were crap! UM was one of my first choices so I’m realllllly happyyy! I’m still waiting for Cornell ED results which comes out next week, but if I don’t get in, I’ll be most likely going to UM! :D:D:D

I just finished talking to Michigan on that live chat thing and the reason I’m not ER isn’t because I sent my test scores in on Nov 1, it’s because my recommendations came in late. My recomendations were submitted mid-October and I got a letter saying they had gotten in and everything, so it was a mistake on the University’s behalf I believe. I’m going to call in and see what they can do. anyways, my point is that a lot of you that submitted real early (September, early October) may not be getting decisions back yet because you might not even be ER and not even know it…
