Very happy that they looked beyond the standardized test scores!!!!

D was accepted into Honors Program - PolSci interest. Probably will not attend. Maximus Scholarship was offered, but compared to other offers it is a “minimus” effort to attract her. OU offered free tution and Honors Tutorial College. Fabulous program - no freshman core courses and will take one-on-one seminars with full profs. Grad classes by soph year. I went ot OU , so I’m psyched that they came through! ACT was a 32. Very competitive private hs. Good luck to everyone!

For those of you who are admitted, you may want to check your application status. My daughter received her orientation link on her application status page. You may want to get that scheduled ASAP.

I see that link. Was your daughter able to schedule her orientation? We cannot get any farther than the page where she needs to confirm her major. Clicking next doesn’t lead anywhere, just keeps trying to load a page.

@nessats - at the top of the first page there is a link ‘Verify Contact Information’. You have to go there first to enter more information before proceeding to the next section.

I did that. Now it takes me where there are several search fields. In order to go anywhere, I have to enter her ID number, and then just clicking on the result takes me back to the beginning. It doesn’t seem like this is quite ready to be live yet.

how is your daughter able to set up orientation. From what ive been told by the ppl at osu, they send orientation packets in mail. I also don’t see link :(

We just registered my daughter for the two day session in June- 6/23-6/24. There are three other two-day sessions - July 19-20, July 26-27 (I think that’s the date) and a two-day in August.

In the Applicant Center, in the Admissions section, there is a link ‘Orientation Information’ where we selected the date for orientation and answered a series of questions regarding foreign language taken in high school, a mathematical assessment link, whether or not taking the AP test for Calculus… and others I can’t remember.

Not sure why some can see and access the link and others not?

The link did finally work for us. However, my daughter is in Honors Engineering, and it looks like the available dates were for Engineering, but not Honors Engineering, so we stopped at that point.
