Do you guys think ED is coming out tonight?
Please read post 236. No one knows for sure.
If ED decisions don’t come out tonight I’m gonna be really really sad
@16sadeghik Me too I just need to know already!
Does anyone know if international students are notified at the same time as all other applicants? I am assuming so. i am guessing that EA decisions are then expected at 7pm Boston time Dec 15th? Thanks in advance!
Anyone else freaking the hell out? Ahhhhhh
I hope everyone posting these anxiety posts will later post their results and not just disappear if they’ve been rejected.
How many students applied ED last year?
crying because im not going to get in :////////
apparently someone said 890. and there was 22,258 EA applications. the difference is amazing to me
ab13rules^^^
Last year was the first year for ED.
@pjohoo98 Do you think last years small ED pool made it easier for ED applicants to get in?
@Je1027 What guarantees that this years ED pool is bigger?
i have no idea I’m a first generation college applicant so i don’t really know that much. But ED is binding so the admissions people know you’re not using it as a safety and plan to attend in admitted.
It is generally believed that ED gives you an edge at any school. EA does not.
Someone noted earlier: 890 ED apps. A small pool. I hope they take as many of you as possible:)
@absquedecorus I never said I thought it was. The ED pool is hard to guess since we only have last years results to go off of, but now that I’m thinking about it would assume that more people applied ED this year. I only think this because every year Northeastern increases in prestige (for lack of a better word) and that tends to draw more people to look at the school and increase applicants. Really, its just an guess.
@TomSrOfBoston I heard that EA gives you a slight edge over RD since you “show more interest” by applying early. Of course, I heard this as a general rule and not specifically for NU.
What time will it come out approx? And will it be today for ED apps?
