Deferred with a 4.08 and in top ten percent. I live 10 minutes away from Boston. Very upset.
@alyssa182 Honors acceptance with 15K, so I think that trend is more correlation than causation.
I AM FREAKING OUT. If you look, NEU is pretty test-based
quick question, is tuition the same when students go on their co-ops? let’s say i do two co-ops, one at the beginning of my second year and another at the end of my third year, would i still pay the same tuition or is tuition altered?
I got deferred too!
Nothing in florida yet =(
Last year the overall acceptance rate was 28%. Northeastern wants to equalize that for both EA and RD. So far no one has posted that they were offered NU In. Last year some were for EA.
Hey we can check the result at application status right??
@xheki05 I believe students do not pay any tuition when on co-ops
Do you think race/ethnicity and demographics has much to do with the decisions?
@c0IIegeb0und what were your stats? And where are you from
@teenagecrime, regarding your question about appealing for admissions to honors, students can apply for the Honors Program once they are enrolled. See the links below:

There is no appeal process for admission to the Honors Program, but you may want to apply for the Honors Waitlist. Write to your area admissions rep and ask if they still have a waitlist. Sometimes they will admit additional students but they will probably not be able to make any decisions until spring. The address for the Honors Waitlist is:
they’re deferring highly qualified people since most of those applicants are hoping to go to better ranked schools
^^^ Yes, that is what we were told, no tuition charged during co-op terms.
Accepted into the Honors Program with the Dean’s Scholarship!
35 ACT
800 Math 2/800 USH/740 Biology
96 UW GPA
Top 10% (school ranks by decile)
NMSF
@xheki05 Tuition is not charged while on coop . You pay for 8 semesters of tuition regardless of coop pattern.
Deferred. 4.0 UW. 2040 SAT.
@blueberry16 I don’t want to come off as rude, but from what I’ve seen I don’t think this is the case. Most of the people who have posted they have been deferred have really good stats, but not the kind of stats that would make NEU a safety school IMO.
When you post, please post your state.
@seniority where are you from?
