“deferred but got in ED to my top choice so it’s really ok”
If anyone has been admitted ED to another college, if you would please notify NU and withdraw your application, that would be helpful to NU and to the other applicants.

Got deferred
Sat: 1900 GPAW: 4.26 tons of ec’s, multiple positions in clubs, tons of APs and IBs throughout high school. I mean I should have expected it, but now it’s a hassle to have to wait till next year :((
Does anyone know if regular decision is harder to get into?
Accepted!! 33 ACT, 4.0 W GPA, 3.84 UW!
Dean’s Scholarship 16K
Studying international affairs.
Does anyone know when the need based scholarships are released? Or have they already been sent to us?
Did anyone get downright rejected or were many people just deferred?
I was accepted! 94.34 unweighted gpa and a 33 ACT. Applied to CAD and deans scholarship of 16k a year!
I received an admission as well! (First one and finally because I was dying a little with the wait) I was given 14k a year with the dean’s scholarship, but I saw no mention of an honors program. If I were to attend, it would be contingent upon studying in the honors college. Does this mean I’m not in consideration for the honors program? Should I call tomorrow, or is it possibly in the mailed home version?
@ars4978 It is possible to apply for a waitlist position for the Honors program. You’ll have to either email an admissions officer or contact someone at the honors program to find out about it. I know several students in the honors program who got in through the waitlist after not initially being accepted.
Seems like everyone was either accepted or deferred. Has anyone seen an outright rejection?

Deferred from CAS. 3.65w/34 ACT with plenty of good ECs. My guidance counselor said that my teacher recommendation was very good. Feeling dejected . Do any deferred folks get in thru RD ?
To someone who said SAT scores were a line… that’s not true because I got a 2260 and still got deferred…it’s probably my freshman and sophomore year B’s though. does anyone know how many deferred people get accepted later on??
