I am shocked and thought i would get in
I applied to the Explore program, but i am also interested in engineering. Does anyone think I will have a better chance getting in regular if I apply to the Engineering program since I am a girl???

My S was deferred. 3.5; 31 ACT; extremely compelling background story. He is definitely disappointed; Northeastern is one of his top two.

@llewengineering So far it looks like New England States, NJ, NY, and PA. No more seem to have been released at 6PM, would expect many at 7PM.

@stevew17 How do you get Deferred with those stats unless they have different acceptance rates for different majors?

Admissions are holistic. We have seen acceptances to the same major with lower stats in this thread alone. I suspect that with those stats, though, that an RD acceptance would be likely.
