Penn has a Facebook group for incoming transfers…has anyone found one/would be willing to make one for Columbia?
What dorms are you all thinking of living in? I really like 600 W 113th street but I hear they’re already booked up from my current freshmen friends.
What is the date that you have to reply to Columbia if you were accepted as a transfer?

Not exactly a transfer student, but I will be a post grad student seeking certification in TESOL! I got accepted a couple of days ago.
Can’t wait to get the ivy league experience working with English teachers to create lesson plans. I have a master’s degree and this certification will give me the opportunity to work at local community colleges and even overseas (which i plan to do eventually).
I know someone mentioned the possibility of a Facebook group for accepted transfers… Anyone start one?

I want to ask how to see if your acceptance of offer is finished? My portal only shows the response form completed and “Recent Activities” of payment received, should I just wait for a follow-up email?

@stressedgirl13 No luck. There’s a website where you input your personal info in order to activate it… I suspect they’re waiting until the 27th until every responds to the university’s offer before they start making the UNIs

I haven’t gotten the call, but apparently, when I called the admissions, they said they have already given out acceptances to people.
