isn't cornell the worst IVY... Or so I've heard, please get back to me.

get outta here. stop tryin to provoke the entire forum

To answer your question platnum, worst is very vague, Cornell is excellent in many things, if you mean strictly rankings, no, Cornell is ranked 13th where Brown is ranked 15th i believe. So Cornell is not the "worst" ivy, but everyone on this board is applying to or attending Cornell, so we all think it is the BEST ivy.

what an oxymoron.. "worst ivy"..

kind of like, military intelligence

Why is it that people always try to define 'good' schools by acceptance rates? I don't get it.

Just like going to Harvard for engineering ...

I don't think that's the best example because when you are a Harvard engineer, you get to take classes at MIT, and I don't think anyone can question the craziness of MIT.

cornell is the best ivy!! just happens to have the highest acceptance rate, a staggering 27%. In the london times' world-colleges ranking, cornell beats columbia, dartmouth, brown, and UPenn.

OMG, it's snowing at Cornell. Please reconsider Cornell! Don't freeze your ass off. Don't get me wrong, I love this school. But, around this time, I hate it with passion.

Did you make a giant snowman?

It's not bad, I'm still wearing flip-flops.

Lol. The weather is fine by me.

My friends think I'm crazy because I've been sighted in December wearing t-shirts and shorts. It's been snowing for three days in the last week where I live.

I wear birks until we get 6 inches of snow.

"ahhhh snow, not that!!!"

a true cornellian puts up with the elements. With some of the intense academics here, weather should be the last thing on your mind.

Walking up 45 degree hills in 45 degree weather and getting a 45 on your prelim...only Cornell.

I think that's from Urban Dictionary

bump...what other applicants are out there for ED?

Personally, I think Cornell's snow is a blessing. The way I figure it, anything that's a putoff to most collegebound kids, increases admit rates and gives me a better shot. I don't LOVE the snow, but if it gives me a shot at Cornell's academics then I can definitely learn to love it.
...and snowmen are fun, too.

make igloos.
