Official Ed Decisions!

Of course they are the best in the state! I mean, one of the guys who shared my suite was a drug dealer!...and I'm not kidding either lol.

boys state...i'm glad i didn't do that. though they had a JSA at Princeton...that would have been amazing. no, going to spain was better.

Congratulations! I'm living in Romania right now (American Int'l School of Bucharest) so I feel a little psyched whenever I see someone from a country I've lived in (or currently living in) got in a university/college they really wanted!

thumbs up

If you want to find Romanians, look in the math department. Cookieson has about 10 kids in his math class and 4 are from the Romania math team.

On another note, it was good to bump this thread up for those applying ED this year to see. It may answer a lot of your questions.

Or reading the thread could scare even the most confident of us ! :p

is there a thread for which deferrals got in? (i cant spell)

omg...I can't believe this thread is bumped up.

this is the worst thing that can happen to all the anxious ED kids who are already freaking out.

all I can say is that guys have faith in yourslef.

like I said before ED guys have a 30%+ chance of getting in, those who don't apply have a 0% chance.

wow, "ED guys" sounds so wrong. It sounds as though they are the people who need viagara

lol

lol i didnt mean to bumb it. i actually went through it. it isnt that bad it starts really bad, but in the teens pages it gets good. i was just curious how many cc'ers who got deferred got in regular.

the admission rate for urms is pretty high....hispanics 3/4

Does anyone know if int'l ed decisions are sent by some sort of express mail, and whether or not it is the same for acceptances and deferrals?

so no one was rejected, or are the rejected ones just not posting? dont feel bad if you got rejected, please post your stats here so we can see what your stats were. it can really help us. thank you.

So, are we going to continue this thread for this years ED applicants?

Sure. Why not?

shark_bite...dont expect any rejectee to post their stats...thats expecting too much. ED rejection can cause mild depression in many...

Btw what percent is rejected ED?

"Btw what percent is rejected ED?"

I think it's somewhere around 5%.

wow. if i get into that 5% i will be VERY upset...

Ahh thats just painful.

I wonder what kind of chance that person would have at other Ivies is he/she fell into that 5%.
