oh goodness, this waiting is about to make me cry.
it's like GO AHEAD AND REJECT ME ALREADY.
but that's cool.
congrats again to all you peeps fretting about finalist now! =)

Has anyone noticed that the interview weekend dates on the semifinalist letter differ from the ones on the website? The letter says the Scholar Finalist Weekend is March 21-24, but that is Easter weekend. Is this a mistake? The website says it is March 26-29. Can anyone clear this up?

^ My letter says March 26-29.

my letter says march 26-29 too. march 21-24 were the dates last year.

General Comments: Good Luck!! Congrats to those who got in. I'll probably be lurking on this forum, just because I like talking to you guys. Anyway, later people.

still cant believe u werent accepted. you'll def get into better schools

ya seriously packersfan, you have an amazing resume. emory scholars doesnt know what it's missing. best of luck to you!

College admissions are really random sometimes...I'm sure you'll get into an awesome school and be wondering why you ever thought about going to emory! ;D

good luck packer! you'll be great =)

for the board, I got my rejection letter yesterday too. whoohoo!

rejection...oh well

Thanks for the support guys. I honestly think my parents are more torn up about this than I am... :P Emory was their dream college for me. So, ironically enough, I'm kinda happy that I won't be close enough for them to come visit me every weekend.

Good luck to all you guys as well. Hope you all get the scholar's gig.
And hang in their azn.

Has anybody heard from squirrel recently?

Grr, STILL NO LETTER! How terribly upsetting. Strange, too, considering that if they mailed them on Saturday, I certainly should have gotten it by today! Perhaps the mail service has decided to hate me.

Squirrel like died....haven't seen him on this board for weeks (maybe 1, but still.)

haha well I talked to him via aim a few days ago...
but apparently his internet sucks...or maybe his rejection letter came
and he's taking a machete on his wrists (quote from our convo; I'm not calling him emo or crazy)

but yeah, I think we're all pretty cool about our rejections haha
hey, packer, let's be facebook friends
we've decided we like you ;)

...sooo baby farms at harvard then? tea party!

Save the babies!!! And I had a really good suicide prevention talk a while back from one of my friends. It lasted like 10 minutes, and I don't think she repeated herself once... It was quite impressive.

and boo harvard. ivy league schools are not worth it.

welcome back squirrel. we missed you. but, i don't think the gremlins are to blame. the emory scholars people obviously do not know about this site, so they didn't send all the letters out at once. they sent rejections last. except for tako. they have an irrational inexplicable hatred for tako. Tako, what did you do to **** them off?

I have no idea, mate. I mean: first (and one of few) to receive a rejection email, and then I don't even get a rejection letter?

Perhaps it was because I called them so much on the Saturday when we were supposed to have found out decisions. I think that must be it. I guess Emory has caller ID, and so decided to torture me as such.

If I come home tomorrow and still don't have a letter, I think I might just cry. I'll give them until Monday. Then I'll leave angry voice messages.

Takooooooo don't cry!
welcome back squirrel
and packer and I are now FB friends!

:) haha so I just got back from school...
and it's 11:00 pm...and I feel so high
because I had 2 cups of coffee :)

alsjdf;lasjdfl;ajsdfadsj babyyyy farmmmmms
