Wait guys, is the decision actually delayed until the financial aid checklist is complete?
Financial aid is a different decision. Admissions decisions will come out all on the same day, regardless of your financial aid status.
Also, I thought they changed the ED decision date to the 15th at 3pm EST?

If they have not been updating your checklist, does that mean anything?
I called them about it, and the financial aid checklist doesn’t have anything to do with admissions, it just apparently takes longer to process. Are you just referring to the financial checklist?

Why did you apply to Johns Hopkins?
So many reasons! A few would be:
- Amazing research opportunities (as someone who’s done lab research her whole high school career, it’s pretty important to me). 2) The campus environment felt like where I’d fit in 3) great grading policies with first semester freshman year pass/fail system and others 4) The connections JHU has with ther companies and institutions is invaluable 5) I’m applying molecular and cellular bio and JHU is one of the best in the country and world for it!
What about everyone else?? 
Awesome! Very cool to hear. My primary reason was also research opportunities. JHU offers the best facilities and funds!
Which school did you apply to? Bio/premed or the others?
Molecular and cellular Biology as a major, so the school of arts and sciences. Was considering BME but decided against it.
What are you applying as?
Also, I probably won’t be premed. Most likely going into a PhD program. There’s a slight chance of an MD/PhD program in my future though.
