Chem. 750
US History 750
Biology 660 (not taking class…self studied basically)

800 Math II
720 Physics
690 World History

I’m not going to take World History again, I’m satisfied with that score (My focus is on robotics and engineering, so doing pretty decent on a liberal arts subject test is satisfactory), and I’ve hit the ceiling for Math II. My physics score is great but I can do better, so I’ll study hard and retest. Optics killed me.

I’ve also giving away two out of my three Barron’s SAT books for Math and World History to this upcoming Junior who has really shown outstanding progress and is the most impressive student I have ever seen. President of an organization at the state level, president and vice president in several extra curricular activities, massive amounts of community service, summa cum laude academics, I think he is ranked in the top 5 people in his class, devoted to tons of stuff, drum major, etc. But yea, I feel ecstatic.

Bio M-740
Is this considered good for a freshmen that basically didn’t even take the class?

I never said it didn’t start with a 5.

Not sure if anyone clarified yet, but I know U of Southern California requires three subject tests as well, not just Georgetown.

^^^ Only from certain students. This is from their website:

780 Physics (kinda expecting an 800, but w/e. 780’s awesome :D), and I’m officially done with SAT Subject Tests.

Bio M-800
Math II-770

I was really happy when I got them, but I didn’t exactly understand the percentiles at the time. Since ~10% of the people who take the Math II get an 800, is that worth another shot? I’m hoping I could improve if I actually studied this time, but my mom thinks I’m being ridiculous. Thoughts?

Congrats to all of the geniuses on here, btw :D

790 Math II
680 Lit.
610 Chemistry

I’m really happy with Math, so I won’t be taking math ever again. Lit I just took because the testing center was far away so I figured I’d take it since I’d be there. (Did anyone else find it really hard?) and Chemistry was just a bomb. I took the class over a year ago, so I was hoping I could hit 700 and be done with the SAT, since I much preferred the ACT.

I plan to take physics on the soonest fall test date, so I’ll have a physics text book to study for it. I hope the fact that I sent these scores already doesn’t hurt me.

Also, does anyone know a good minimum for a Physics score to get into MIT? My ACT was straight 35s, and my Math on SAT was 790, so would a 750 be acceptable?

790 USH
760 Math II

I’m satisfied :)

Cakalacky,

The Subjct Test in World History is only given in December and June.

750 math 1
800 math 2
800 chem

whatever. i’m done with chem!

ps. whoever thinks about taking math 1, don’t take it. just study more and take math 2 -_-

^^ I’m curious … why did you take both Math tests in one test session, jay?

780 chem
760 bio E (last june)

do you think i should study for math II even though only one college requires three subject tests??

800 bio E!!! huge curve.

well, this is just awesome. everyone seems to have aced it except for me. How on earth is everyone getting 800’s… i studied for this garbage and i didn’t do well at all… idk i just am not good at standardized testing

math I ( NOT even II ) 580
US history 650

needless to say, i have to retake them…

Chem- 780 (I was happy at first and now seeing this thread made me depressed about this score… :[ )
Math II- 800
Lit- 690 (better than what I expected, because I literally fell asleep in the middle… but still not satisfied with this… X_X)

Is it possible to send just chem and math II scores into colleges? (I’m thinking about some of the top colleges as well, so I was wondering if the ivies will be okay with my score choosing, or w/e it’s called…)

And is it worth it to retake chem for the 800?

World History - 800

That was such a godawful, hard class. Paid off though I guess.

Then, December it is…?

Math 2: 800
Latin: 670 ← http://■■■■■■/7C6b2K

At least it’s better than something like 770 on Math and 770 on Latin.
