Sidis, thanks but weren’t there four answer choices?
So far I remember
President Madison’s assets
commerce–used to fund
money from other states
?

It was definitely commerce used to fund it.

Also I’m fairly certain that it was speak calmly for the EXCEPT question on tattoos.

still same question what was the question for “human intervening” and “categories withal used” i still cant remember T.T

Yes I remember speak calmly as that answer.

@csi, can i ask why you were so strong in your belief that “equal to” and “autumn” weren’t the last two questions of the reading section?

Does anyone remember if they got any A’s for the last 3 reading questions on the 1st passage? I had to guess on these.

what was the question that asked how long england’s canals were??

@yuta human intevene refers to praire fire; human interven by setting fire to prarire

for the wital reference it was a question with quotes from wital i believe

I said less than 356 miles or something xD

@Alargeblackman14 Ya, I couldn’t remember the 4th question. I think it was to use funds from the panama canal, or something to do with it.

@CSIHSIS I said less than 356 miles as well :P.

@basketball
Sorry, but do you remember other choices for second question? What did Wital say?

Less than 363 miles - the narrator said the Erie was the longest in the world at 363 miles.

According to all the answers we have now I have 4 wrong, I’m not sure about the ranger one in the prairie passage. There are 4 questions left that we don’t have. So I got 4 wrong at best and 9 wrong at worst. Most likely I got 5-6 wrong. Does anyone know what 5 or 6 wrong would get me?

@FutureWolverine7 My best guess (of course I don’t know the curve) would be between a 29-31.

Does anyone knows how the ACT people get the scale score from your overall raw scores. I want the formula so I can see how I did.

looks like i did well on grammar and reading and decent on science. but math is going to prevent me from getting the score i want. damn.

One of my practice books that’s not the official ACT one. Does
(the number you got right*36)/(number of questions on test) Then it has a curve depending on the test, it might be -2, +2, or anywhere in between.

So if you got 65/75 right on english. You’d do (65*36)/75=31 The curves for English are usually -2, so that would be a 29.

The reading test this time was moderately difficult in my opinion. I tried to pace myself (8 minutes per passage), but some of the questions really tripped me up. The prose passage (about the tattoos) was especially confusing.

I don’t thinking reading was bad at all. The best thing about the ACT is that the passages (in English and Reading) are usually interesting, unlike the SAT, or at least PSAT because I’ve never taken an SAT, IMO.

I did the worst on the tattoos one. I think I got 3 wrong. The New York and dictionary ones were simple, while the Prairie one was easy, but it had a few questions that tripped me up imo.
