**OFFICIAL June 2nd SAT SCORES Thread!**

Don't feel depressed, IamGandhi2k7, that's not bad at all!! I know someone in my school who got a 1300 when you add alllll 3 sections!! :O

CR: 740
M: 800
W: 740
total: 1540/2280

I really would have liked to break 2300 but I think that the M+CR score puts me in the top 60-70% of most of the upper-tier universities and Ivy League. Probably won't retake.

^i got 2280 too
CR: 680 =[
M:800
W: 800
total: 2280

i have a question though, is it bad that my CR score is so low compared to my math and writing scores? I did worse by 10 points in CR (I took the SAT in january for the first time)...oh well! i hate CR =[ =[ =[

How does it look to go from a 720 to an 800 then back to a 760 in math?

predicted: 2300+

actual: 2200

wow I have NO idea what I missed :(
oh well, time to register for Oct test

Predicted: 2000

Actual: 660M, 560CR, 680W =1900

:-( I hate CR!

V 670->770
M 780->760
W 700->800
Total 2150 -> 2330
Combined 2350

No more for me =)

do colleges take one-sitting or composite? (Or I guess--what would you actually write on your application?) I know that they see all the scores.

blackdragonhavoc, how did you raise your V and W scores?? just practice?

I fluctuated like crazy...
Will this fluctuation make a big difference? Will colleges look at my composite?

May:
Math:720
CR:660
Writing:580

June:
Math:690
CR:520
Writing:740

Composite 2120

So relieved and happy...

December:
Math: 780
CR: 730
Writing: 780

June:
Math: 780
CR: 800
Writing: 800

Composite: 2380

Ahh good job rainalai, you got the score I wanted. XD

bah

ma - 780
cr - 730...i dont think i missed this much
wr - 770

11 essay

2280....seeems like the consensus score here

Aw, thank you ductTape! I'm sure you did well too, are you planning on retaking?

Rainalai,
Congrats -- I know someone who thinks a 2380 is the "perfect" score!

CR - 800
Math - 740
Writing - 800
2340

Tip for future test takers: if you finish a math section with only 1 or 2 questions left that you can't solve, leave them blank. Don't waste precious time with endless futile calculations; instead, review the other problems in the section for careless mistakes.

CR - 710 (realized i misbubbled a few of them too late to erase and rebubble!)
Math - 780
Writing - 760 Essay: 9

im a bit disappointed. i was averaging 770s on CR and the proctor gave us <20 minutes for the essay, so i wasnt able to finish my last body paragraph and conclusion. contemplating whether i'll garner enough effort for a last try, pending my ACT score

CountingDown, thank you! Haha, but why is 2380 considered "perfect"?

my prediction was right! well.. at least composite was!

CR: 590 (590 predicted)
Math: 780 (800 predicted)
Writing: 630 / 8 essay (610 / 8 essay predicted)
Composite: 2000 (2000 predicted)

+210 from January... so I am aiming for at least 2100 hopefully 2200 on Oct!

btw, 780 on Math is one wrong right? I can't believe it... I double checked on all of them... =(

Not as much as I was aiming for, but it's not that bad (for now).

CR: 740 (Better than I expected. Thought I did poorly on the first CR section)
Math: 740 (WT F!! NOOOOOO!!! Triple check, everyone.)
Writing Total: 730

Writing MC: 760 Essay: 8

Composite SATI: 2210
