Official June ACT Score Thread (now available)

My breakdown was
English - 36
(18)
(18)
Math - 31 (FUUUUU)
(15)
(16)
(16)
Reading - 34
(18)
(16)
Science - 35

Nope, not satisfied. I did better in the practice tests. Unfortunately, my composite score is a 33.25, which rounds down to 33.I’m pretty happy with my other scores though.

proflamel…I got a 31 in april my first time…32 in june w no prep. Im gonna go for the 34 in september and study A LOT. You will get it bc I know that I can def get that 34 with studying.

It doesn’t affect the composite, but it affects the “combined reading/writing” score, but that doesn’t really matter.

lev you did great dont worry…congrats on an amazing score…Congrats to everyone we all did very well

Screw reading. Ridiculous time limit + harsh curve. You really got to be your 110% for the whole 35 mins to get a good score…

I really have so much work to do this summer gotta get 5+ points

^ Truth. Inaccurate representation of any human’s reading abilities. FUUUUUU. ACT. >.>

Thanks, doolittle. Best of luck to you in September!

yeah seriously this test’s reading was ■■■■■■■■

Finally got scores back after weeks of obsessively checking! Very excited! I was able to raise my composite from a 33 to a 35 (36 E, 34 M, 35 R, and 33 S)! Best of luck to anyone still waiting on scores and for everyone retaking it! This was my 3rd time so don’t give up!

I got 17,13 sub score for reading. Any idea how many did I miss?

I don’t honestly know why people complain about reading. I got a 34 on it, and finished my first run through with 10 minutes left.

Science, on the other hand, is the bane of my existence. It doesn’t honestly test science knowledge, and is pointless.

34 E
33 R
32 M
33 S
33 C

I’m pretty happy :)

Anyone with the big scores, would you mind posting your strategies or approach for each section? For example: leaving the conflicting viewpoints passage last for Science.

Sounds like the red book is the best study tool. All the practice tests. Correct?

Yea what nspire said.

Science I just stopped reading the intros and went from a 30 to a 34. Math - studying for the Math 2 subject test helped mine go up slowly. Reading idk, went down from a 33. English is just practice over and over and the rules they test are so repetitive it’s crazy

Is anyone still “registered” ?

Mine! So annoyed :/

@Debater: Can you give me some tips for the Reading section then? I’m so inconsistent in my scores. I got a 28 Reading last time and a 24 this time, and I’m starting to think that 28 was a fluke. But I sure hope not. It destroys my composite repeatedly. D:
