Official June SAT II US History Thread

are you guys sure that the answer to the question: what most hindered the american colonies in the revolution?

was the lack of funding? because sure it made the US retreat at the battle of bunker hill and such (although the US still essentially won that battle), but another notable problem was the lack of cooperation of the colonies and how unwilling many of them were to help

how did you determine that the funding was more important?

the choice that hinted at a disunity in the Rebellion was the one that said "Organized Tories hindered the revolution."

but the I don't think the Tories were organized in groups. they just were against it and didn't fight. that's how i derived it to be funding.

and i think that they did have some problems with currency, which also added to why i chose it.

you could be right, though. ask other people.

ANYTHING having to do with problems in 18th century US govt is going to almost all the time have to do with finances and junk. Just don't overanalyze the test.

^ I agree with your reasoning. I don't recall anything about organized tories doing someting significant, so I also went with funding.

is there a chat on aim for this?

I remember something about the Colonies not willing to organize troops. The money problem definately did happen, but I believe the there was a lack of cooperation. I chose it over the money answ. choice.

Guys, help me out with SAT II US History, plz...
