what did you think of it?

I thought some of the specific questions were difficult, but I also thought the majority were easy/okay.

I left 5 blank…

@missbo just because you left 5 blank doesn’t mean you didn’t do well . A close buddy of mine left 5 questions blank on the Math II subject test, and he still got an 800 (the max cutoff for an 800 is -6 or -7).

Also was anyone tripped up by the Marxist view of Civil War question? Left that and 3-4 other questions blank.

Hahaha, I hope so! @Jarjarbinks23 And I wasn’t sure about that question either but I think I picked the answer that talked about opposing ideas or something about conflicting views but I think the answer with economics in it might have been right

Yeah I put the economics one.

Marxism states that class difference will lead to social revolution.

Same here for me on that economics one. What’d you guys put for that farmers association question in the 60s and 70s?

Do you remember what the answer choices were?

@dianazhao it was like helped african american farmers, campaigned against environmentalist things to farm more, helped migrant workers by striking w grapes or something, and i forgot the other ones.

@wilguen I think the answer was the grape strike.

I thought this was a very hard tests compared to other ones.

If it makes you guys any happier, according to Collegeboard’s Study Guide,

-10 = 800.

what was the one that was not part of roosvelts first 100

@College4life3 lend-lease. That was in WWII.

100 days was focused exclusively on the Depression.

best thing about SAT US history is you can google all these questions, so you have a relatively clear idea of your score

ya but i forgot most of the questions on the test @Jarjarbinks23 do you remember any other ones that were hard. i wanna know roughly what score i got to see if i should cancel it or not

@College4life3 Here’s what I remember:

WHy did USA annex southern arizona (got this wrong) --> Because of railroads

How was Penn different from Massachusetts (colonies are a hard topic)–> Penn had religious toleration

What policy did Kennedy follow (confusing, got his wrong) --> Appeasement, not Detente as I thought

Who did the Spanish interact with in the Americas (weird question, got it correct i think) --> Pueblo Indians

@Jarjarbinks23 Kennedy’s policy was called “flexible response”

I didn’t think that Pueblo was a Native American nation and I thought they were trying to trick you into picking it and so I picked Pequot :/

@wilguen so was Kennedy a detente or an appeaser? There was no option for flexible response… or maybe I didn’t see it? :-/

And look up the 1680 Pope’s Rebellion… Pueblo Indians rebelled against the Spanish. Stuff like the Spanish & Pueblo Indians is pretty obscure IMO (has nothing to do ith US history) but thats how Collegeboard plays it.

i picked pequot as well
