Hahah yeah I meant Garrett Gilbert, got him confused with Connor Wood, my bad. Gilbert was this years recruit and Wood is a projected recruit for next year. Gilbert was the second best QB in the country, next to the guy from USC (even though his numbers are much better). I expect Gilbert to be at UT for 3 year (only play 2 years because he’s playing behind McCoy) before going pro, Wood will start after him. Wood doesn’t have the arm compared to Gilbert but he is really versatile and is comparable to Colt McCoy.

I agree that UT has a great chance of being Big 12 champs, I meant that I don’t think they can be national champs. Sadly, OU does have better talent because I heard that 4 players are projected to be in the top 7 picks for the 2010 NFL Draft! I agree that OU lost good offensive players but they still have Bradford, Gresham, and Murray.

Hmm, according to rivals.com John Wall is the #1 player in the country. 1 month ago Avery Bradley (SG) was. He won the high school slam dunk contest and was #1 player overall for a while. Despite having Bradley, James, and other young players, UT won’t have enough experience to win the national title. At best UTs basketball will be a top 5-8 team.

I’m just saying what I think will happen. I hope I’m wrong though. I’m talking about the 09-10 season btw. If Bradley and Hamilton return for another season, UT will be a strong contender.
