WVU :(
It was so sad.

Wisconsin beat the teams that beat Kansas and Uconn. That's good enough for me. UNC might well blow UW out if they play well and UW plays poorly but UW has done very well playing who actually WON their games--not who some seeding said was better.

Bucknell and NC State were great beating Kansas and UConn but those were exceptions, overall you can't say either of those teams were that strong. UNC won't have a problem dealing with Wisconsin.

I'm going to watch USA-Mexico football (soccer) instead.

I'm revising that last prediction with the score tied at halftime.

UNC will still win, but the Badgers will make them work for it.

Thank you. You don't need 12 McD' All americans to play good team ball.

So UNC wins 88-82.
They're not good enough to beat Illinois but they'll make a game of it.

Next: Kentucky over Michigan State

MSU is going to wipe the floor with Kentucky.

Dang, we had a good shot at UNC. One player short.

OT for MSU - UK

That was one of the most exciting plays I have ever seen.

This has been an AMAZING weekend of college basketball and it ain't over yet.

Whoa, that was an unbelievable game!

Kentucky could've won too if they managed the clock better during the overtimes.

And talk about clutch - Michigan State's free throw shooting.

The final four is looking quite promising.

yea MSU beats Kentucky

but still.. what a shot from Sparks at the end of regulation.. that shot bounded in and out like 3 times before rolling into the basket.. that was awesome

Yeah, and talk about being close to the line.

Even really zoomed in replays were inconclusive.

Stanford started the season in a terrible fashion with multiple losses. They lost a lot of their coaching staff (including head coach). They lost so many players to injury (including top scorer and best player) that they ended up having to have some guy walk on the team so that they could actually field a team. They managed to get to the NCAA tournament w/ practically 7 players and continue stanford's streak of tournament appearances.

They did this while everyone was counting them out. True, they screwed up in the final game, but they advanced far enough to earn my respect.
