St. Olaf’s decisions are out. Wait-listed. :(

I got WAIT-LISTED TOO!

best of luck guys!! now i guess the decisions will start coming one by one…
And iGODFATHER - Wait listed is better than Rejected…but i don’t know what it means in a RD…everything happens for better…hope for the best

RELATIVITY93 - i am sure you will get in somewhere good…cross your fingers!!

Yes, it is certainly better than being rejected…but the chances of getting into the college from wait-list is very slim since every person I know of who had applied to St.Olaf has been wait-listed.

^ Me and one of my friends got wait-listed too.

I heard that one of the student from BNKS has gotten into St Olaf.

Yes… one from BNKS got into st. Olaf! But others from the school are having a tough time with the decisions.

^One from RBS has gotten in too.

Is this information verified? not to depress anyone but if 2 Nepalese have already got in to St. Olaf, I doubt if any one wait listed from Nepal will get in. But, hey its college admissions…anything can happen

Mine is, because she messaged me and I met her the day before and unless she has gone bananas to say thank you when I congratulated her about getting in, then yeah…
Those who got in, if they do not enroll, then the ones who got wait-listed get selected, if they are willing to enroll there. More or less this might happen but of course the wait-listed ones have to enroll by May 1st too; while the decision for them comes after May 1st, which is just risky and ridiculous.

yeah! and is the deposit refunded in cases that you don;t get in…or don’t get a visa?? i hope that doesn’t happen with anyone

no , admission deposits are non-refundable

So, St Lawrence has already made the decisions. The decision letters were mailed last Friday. Unfortunately, they do not send decision by email.

Colorado’s decisions are out. Did anybody get in?

anyone care to donate dollars? ,haha, financial aid scarcity!!
–accepted into Rhodes, Rollins(attended candidate weekend too) and Westminster Missouri but with a lack of required AID. And waitlisted at Wash U in St Louis and St Olaf, but its more of a rejection, given the number of waitlisted students this year… Only Ivies-type and Top LACs remaining, so its a loosing battle. Its down to JUB for a safe bet, and a lot of luck. By the way, anyone received any email from Skidmore.except the one about their website’s New Look???

How much did Rollins ask to pay you? It doesn’t give need based aid to international students.

Also, have you already gotten into JUB? JUB is no longer a safety this time.

Initially, I got Dean’s Scholarshipl of 25 K/ yr. Then attended a scholarship weekend competing for a full ride but didn’t win it- added another 5 k of some kind of scholarship. so still need to pay 20k- hahaa

Oh. And what about Westminster? From what I have heard, even with the maximum aid they provide, you still need to pay at least 15k.

By the way, Lafayette’s & Colgate’s decisions are out, I think. Good luck to those who applied there.

You’re right about Westminster. I’m not paying such amounts. That said, goodnight and good luck to others!
