<p>If you look at the past 2 years threads, Northwestern’s decisions come out over the period of a few hours and it has nothing to do with school, geographic location, or decision. It’s completely random</p>

<p>Northwestern has always staggered their emails so the server doesn’t get overloaded. Applicants haven’t heard about admissions decisions at exactly the same time. Also, in past years, international applicants received notification before US residents. </p>

<p>We are actually international (US living overseas) and my daughter has not heard yet.</p>
