I wish they’d just tell us ugh so frustrating

I’m new to this thread, and from what I can tell… they haven’t published an official date, so it could happen anytime this week or next week? (Next week is, after all, “the last week of March”…)

Last year’s release was on Thursday March 21, so the corresponding day is Thursday March 20th 2014.

@ROCKFISHDG oh Lord :-SS

@Firstchoice That is the way things used to be - almost like tax day. But then colleges started sending their acceptance letters ahead of time to try to sway applicants into considering their school more. Little by little colleges began moving their decision dates further back into March to try to gain the upper hand (and then likely letters were invented and etc etc etc). And that’s where we are today…

I just want to get all of my decisions already…I have like 12 coming, 7 next Thursday

@satsarecool same! i have 13 decisions from march 21(or whenver northwestern comes out) to april 1st…craziest 2 weeks of my life

I just counted and I also have 13…gonna be a weird time

May the odds be ever in your favor!

@ironchariot Well hey there, what a coincidence! :D

@satsarecool and @collegeapp2018 13?! How many schools did you apply to? I applied to 17 and thought that was a lot…I can’t imagine having that many schools left.

@impressionistic I applied to 18, but only one early action(Princeton) so I have a lot of schools left to hear from.

Does Northwestern considers ACT super score ?

I applied to 4…I sit in awe of you guys’ application prowess

@Firstchoice I don’t think they do, only single sitting

@ironchariot yeah December was a rough month…hopefully it’ll be worth it

fingers crossed!

Same as @satsarecool. I never want to write another personal essay again.

@impressionistic You never know; it could be the best birthday present you ever receive I wish they’d tell us ahead of time what the release date will be.

hey seaswallowed!

Haha @SeaSwallowed I hope so! I have the stats but I don’t think my Why Northwestern? essay was up to par. I really love the school, I just struggled to convey it on paper. That being said, I wouldn’t mind an acceptance tomorrow, but I hope they would save a rejection until Thursday. ;)
