also (from the writing question)
I think that the # of bison rebounded
not the American bison itself?

YA 5root 2 - 5. that’s what i meant.

@ ballallday no experimental math

the bison one if you take off the commas or ignore the phrase is has something to do with sing/plural its not The American Bison is, Its The American Bison are

Isn’t the word bison both the plural and singular form?

i guess the “all” made me think plural

I’m pretty sure Bison can be both, and they used it in both forms in the sentence.

I left it as No Error, because the verb form was correct. (I think)
If there’s any confusion about “rebounded” it was just referring to the number of bison increasing again.

So today during the SAT, I went back to a section just to look at a problem (yes I’m an idiot I know) and my proctor came to me and said this is my only warning. After that section, she told everyone in the room that she has seen many people in the room have sections (past sections) that were incomplete but then they suddenly become completed and that she might write something or report I don’t remember the exact thing she said but do you think college board will cancel my scores??? Please help me. I’m super stressed about this.

There was a question on the 10 minute section about butterflies. Was it “some of which” or “some of whom”?

Which, because they aren’t people.

I put some of which…i felt like it’d be weird calling a non-human thing a “whom” lol.

^Excellent. That’s what I put - I was just having doubts. Yay!

I wish more people posted things that they were unsure about. This is slow…plus not many people took the SAT this month.

Can someone please help me with my proctor problem? I’m really scared collegeboard will cancel my scores :’(

@FHuang I think there was personification of the wind, and a simile for the italicized sentence.

@ijustwantsuccess You shouldn’t have even been looking at past sections in the first place. I’m surprised she didn’t take your test right then and there. If your scores are canceled, it’s no one’s fault but your own. That’s just part of the rules…

For the last question, was it “just because,” “that,” or “however?”

Yeah, people should just start naming a bunch of things. I would prefer math ones, because that’s where I wanted to improve. Right now I’m looking at possibly 2 wrong, but we’ve only talked about a couple. I’m willing to help with writing and reading in exchange!

I put however but I’m quite unsure of pretty much all my answers.

What did you guys get for the last question on section 10? The one about business.

What was the last question?
