Official NYU 2017 ED I Pledge Thread

<p>Hello all,</p>

<p>I don't know about you, but as an applicant, I personally felt that the most informative areas in College Confidential were the results threads. With that said, I would like to continue a long tradition by creating the Official NYU 2017 ED I Pledge Thread.</p>

<p>We always face the problem of seeing more "accepted" than usual on College Confidential, due to accepted members being more inclined to post than those who were not accepted. Posters who add their names to this thread list simply promise to report their ED admission results within a few days after they receive them. You do not have to post your application data if you do not wish to--simply "accepted", "deferred", or "rejected" will suffice. The idea is to be able to measure NYU-CC-poster admission results while avoiding the potential bias that might result when applicants post their results on CC only after they know of their success. </p>

<p>All you have to do is copy and paste the list and sign your name. Here's hoping we hear some good news in the coming weeks!</p>

<p>So I applied to Shanghai and Stern and got accepted to NYU Shanghai!!! Thats my reporting haha- if you want to know my stats, go to my profile and look at the questions ive asked, ive reported my stats there like a million times lol XD</p>

I had a great portfolio, essay and EC’s all centered around film and screenwriting. It surprised me that I got in so any future applicants, you never know what could happen.</p>
