good.

I think it's the ongoing relationship one.

ongoing relationship this one and the mouth/profile one are ambiguous

In the blurb at the beginning, it said "this passage is written by blah...about the relationship of black americans to africans"...it seems logical that it would be ongoing relationship

There is nothing wrong with the mouth/profile question.,.

I don't see how it could be nations...

The relationship makes more sense.

Add to the list (or edit the list) of correct answers:

Walden comparison passages
--Author would say that isn't how teachers use the text
--Behaviour was atypical for Thoreau
--Passage 1 Author would say train ruined nature's tranquility

Africa and America
--Broad generalizations
--Cultural ties between two nations
--Unsubstantiated for the shadows question.
--Doubt to pride

Ada King
--Purpose was to examine Ada King's popularity, etc.
--Author would disagree that Ada's parent had nothing to do with her fame.

Mona Lisa
--Author of Passage 1 would add "mouth"
--Leo's quote was to characterize a technique
--"innate" to express doubt in a theory
--Passage 1 is to explain art technique, 2 examines its popularity
--The passage about the real Mona woman shows humble --> important

City and Ecosystems
--Cliff talk = Appreciation for city ecosystem
--Tree/Building comparison = city must be self regulating to survive(?)
--Dams and anthills are like buildings = it is natural instinct
--3 pieces of evidence = arguments to support fundamental claim

Ms. Keeplar
--"Romantic" means unconventional outlook
--Hands to the heavens --> Bleak future
--Won't marry guy because of his RECKLESS behaviour
--Response to celibacy question = refusal to answer
--Uncle and Girl have IRRECOLANCIABLE differences
--Uncle and Girl agree = She shouldn't marry an undignified man

keep adding!

i agree with yankees

What were the other choices for the Africa Broad generalizations question?

"Tree/Building comparison = city must be self regulating to survive(?)"

i put something else...what were other answers?

To add to that list, I thought there was one on the Mona Lisa one about being three-dimensional, although I can't recall the wording of the question exactly.

Ms. Keeplar -- she answers his question as "regarding future plans" or something like that.

not self regulating.,

something about natural laws limit us i think.

jegan I think it was "what would both authors agree with about the Mona Lisa?" I put that it creates idiosyncratic responses in its viewers. Is that right?

er for the mona lisa origins question.. wasnt that E? moderate social status to aesthetic value?

Yep daiikon, natural laws.

virtuoso -- the literal definition of nations means it makes sense in context, although really I'm not sure if it was the "best" answer choice.

Cliff talk = Appreciation for city ecosystem

for this I put that he was (don't remember the word, but indifferent) In the passage is was something like "to us it merely represents a change from a forest ecosystem to a cliffside ecosystem"...it just doesn't seem appreciative, more neutral..anybody have an opinion?

sum, you're correct with moderate social staturs and aesthetic value

oh and virtuoso -- i put three dimensional, although i agonized over it for a while. I eventually realized that the lines in passage 2 they were asking about was actually a direct quote from Paul somebody talking specifically about three dimensional technique.

i second avant-garde's comment, I think it was moderate social status

I dont agree with refusal to answer on last passage. IT seems to me that it was she challenged or w/e. Wait was this the answer?
Also on teacher disagreeemtn passage. Wasn't the first one of making nature destructive or something. I forget answer choices. Can someone post the answer choices?
