********Official October 27th 2007 ACT Scores Thread********

lmao I think you need to find more exciting things to do than acing the ACT

waiiit its not working for me..some1 help?

the site has a scheduled maintenance until 1 am.. looks like it's going to be a late night

sweet..so i get on as soon as the site goes down

starting a countdown:
2 hours and 40 minutes till 1AM and the site is back up!

C: 32

E:31
M:35
R: 27!!!!! (WHAT THE ...)
S: 34 (What the...?)

I think they may have switched my reading and science scores!

C-32
English-31
Math-34
Reading-31
Science-30

English: 35
Math: 33
Reading: 30 :(
Science: 33 (???)
Composite: 33

I got a 35 in English but got 18/18 on both subscores. Is that normal?

October
E 36
M 30
R 36
S 26

February
E 33
M 30
R 34
S 29

this site is a cornucopia of geniuses

no composite 36s yet?

E-35 (with two 18's? how does that happen?)
M-34
R-27
S-28
C- 31, again

Yeah, I suck at reading and science, but I must say I'm not too bad at English and Math! If it weren't for Reading and science, I would have a decent score.

ok so i need some advice....i am thinking of taking the act again in december but im not sure if i should...the scores i got are ok for most of my schools but i still want to get the composite a bit higher. i have taken sats twice and have done awful...and im taking them again december 1st. i studied for the act and the sat the second time....and i have been studying alot for the the third attempt at the sat. my act scores are these:

english- 26
science-24
math-23
reading-18 very bad!
composite-23

should i take it again for 64 dollars or deal with theses scores and hope for the best with admissions decisions?

and my gpa is well above all my schools averages...it's a 3.68

that depends on what schools u want to go to. And what ur weaknesses are. If u dont know the math, it'll be very hard to study all the math. If u need to get the timing down, go for it why not?

Haha a 3.9 is ranked 150 at my school *** right

im not talking about my high school itselfs average.....im talking about the average of the schools i want to apply to

the schools are uconn, unh, adelphi, rollins, eckerd, boston university, umass amherst, saint michaels, uvm.....

im in the top 15percent of my class, 3.68 gpa, senior classes are:
semester 1
virtual high school honors cultural literature
honors calculus
health science and technology 2
ap psych

semester 2
ap psych 2
honors bio 2
health science technology 2
honors physics

Activities include working 3 jobs, secretary of skills usa, hosa class rep, community service at nursing home, and a couple others

chances at any of these schools? any recommendations or schools to add?

I have no idea what those colleges are so i cant be of any help. I know amherst is hard though? right? I have no idea on averages or anything. If you are way below range, i would retake. But like i said, it depends on what happened on test day. If you tried your hardest and dont think u can improve in like 3 weeks, i wouldnt stress over it.

Btw 3 jobs....impressive

haha thanks...where are you from? i live in new hampshire so most of those schools are in mass or nh

haha i know a girl who lives in new hampshire. I live in minnesota, cold as heck here. i g2g school cya

"E-35 (with two 18's? how does that happen?)"

Same thing happened to me on math for September test... I called up and I was like "Biotchhh, I gots me 3 perfect subscores, why no perfect score?" and they were like, "if you miss one question, thats how you drop".

At least in math... sucks, huh?

-Adam

31 :)

Couldn't be happier
