********Official October 27th 2007 ACT Scores Thread********

I got a one point increase over June test.

June: 34
Math - 36
Science -34
English - 34
Reading -33
Writing(Essay) - 9

October: 35
Math - 35
Science -36
English - 35
Reading -33
Writing(Essay) - 9

Didn't help too much - I wanted to improve my writing score to ~11ish. A higher reading score would have helped to make my SAT CR scores (~650-680) seem better.

dude my scores aren't out yet either when do you think they'll be up I don't think I like misspelled my name or anything and friends of mine who took it at the same place have their scores so I don't know why I don't have mine...

If other people at your test center have their scores, and you didn't test standby or do a test date change on the day of the test, the reason your scores aren't there is most likely because you didn't copy your matching information exactly from your admission ticket. That's your ten-digit match ID, date of birth, and the first 5 letters of your last name. You have to copy it exactly even if, for example, the date of birth is incorrect. And it's not too hard to get a meaningless number like your match ID wrong.

Wasn't there a change this year where if you register online you have to print out your admission ticket, they don't mail it to you? I wonder if a lot of people didn't even print it?

I know that that's the most likely reason but let's say I didn't misspell something on my admission ticket. I always like triple check that stuff because I'm afraid of having my scores delayed (a lot of good this did me). Could there be another reason? Am I just unlucky? How long will they be delayed?

Still dont have mine either and I have never seen this many amounts of kids not have there grades yet.

mrs. ferguson. we appreciate your relaying to us what is on the website, but this is a very large portion of people not receiving their scores. There is obviously something beyond tester error, even if it is plain laziness by ACT, that has resulted in the mass delaying of scores

It appears that only 50% of testers got their scores back on the scheduled date.

tyler09,

thanks a lot for giving me something beyond what an automated machine would me off of the ACT website. At least now I know a lot of kids haven't gotten there scores, this is quite annoying hopefully they'll be up next week. God I wonder how long we'll have to wait?

still no scores for me either.....

when do u guys get urs?

Hopefully the scores will come in tonight ...

STILL no scores!!! It's almost been a week since they said the scores would first be available. I've heard that there are still a lot of people that haven't gotten scores. I called the ACT people and they said that the dates on the website are for the FIRST ones available, but I have a hard time believing that.

I probably messed up on my matching information somehow so I'll just wait it out... as hard as it is to be patient :(

Hopefully my scores will be a bit higher this time around... getting another point higher for a 34 would be great, 35 would roxxor (I could one-up a few smug fools :D) and a 36 would hand me my Chuck Norris card XP. I should be better at testing considering that I'm in IB and I learned the majority of the ACT material in middle school but something never quite connects, probably because I covered it so long ago - I haven't looked at a lot of it for years!

/end rant/

Sigh... I'll keep you guys posted :)

its hella frustrating i know :/
