jc2lapcae i got 8. I converted 80 degrees to radians and multiplied it by the radius (36/2pi).

For the 2 circles with the 80 degree angle and its arc length, are you supposed to incorporate pie into the answer? When you use pie to find the diameter the answer comes out to 1.26 (around there), when you don't use pie the answer comes out to 4. I put filled in either 1 or 2 (whichever one was listed) becuase they were the closest to the actual answer. Looking back the correct answer seems to be 4, but how come they didn't use pie, am I missing something?

I'm pretty sure I worked it out correctly...

2pir=18
r = 9/pi
and so on..

i got 4.

t definitely equals -2

The one with 't' t = -2

the Cecil one with the metaphor, what were the other choices?

T definately =1! Martin Luther King passage killed me.

it's definitely -2, and definitely 4. no need to use radians. multiply the smaller circumference by 80/360

the first short passage question on the entire test. something about seizing the world. what did everyone put. i put intensity but i wasn't sure.

1300 (fill in)

I dont remember 1300. What you get that for?

for the mlk passage, what did the author of passage 1 do to develop his arguments that the author of passage 2 did not do?

i think intensity was right, in retrospect. i was stupid and put petulant.

yeah i got 1300 on something too

no t has to be -2, takeonlife. x + 1/x = t when x = -1, t = -2.

for no integer x, is t one.

i put intensity

I put intensity too! :)

The seizing and shaking guy with the controversial remarks or whatnot?

t+1/t had to be 1... because that would be the only one that made it an integer. If you used 2, then 2+1/2 would be 2 1/2 which isn't an integer.

You cant remeber what it was for tho?

MLK: what did author of passage one do that differed from passage two: cite a quote that he or she disagreed with for mlk.

what was the 1300 question? i don't remember that answer at all.

The MLK passage was just so damn confusing. Both of the selections had parts to them that contridicted their main ideas, both of which were not completely different.

blah..... MESSED UP THAT FIRETRUCK REALLLLLLLY BAD

takeonlife youre thinking of it all wrong

what was 70/3 an answer to???
