Official October ACT Science Thread

spectravoid it was because they didn’t want to pick up the same frogs and then ultimately skew the data.

Not sure what choice that was

but i thought it was errosion,

the water hit the rocks and changed the shape with caused the release of CH4

I thought the last section was super hard. What did you all put for the first and second questions on the last section?

was it so it would not skew TOWARDS or AWAY?

i was crunched for time and put away

what was the question about the wire being twisted and potential energy?

I put TOWARDS and it’s metamorphism since the rocks are getting heated to high temperatures and then changed into that sepertine mineral

that occurred because the liquids ran up to the rocks which changed the shape and sepertine minerals came about

i think it was erosion

rider question, anyone? i know it wasnt rider A= rider 1 rider B= rider 2. and i didnt think it was rider A= rider 2 rider B= rider 3

B = Rider 1
A = Rider 2

i put A… whatever that was. I think it was A= rider 1 and B= rider 2, because if you remember the rider A/B started off slow but finished to a great start. the only one that had a curve like that was Rider A… and the other rider had a generally relative speed. I think.

oh really? what choice was that, do you remember? aghh. i think i misread it, because i wouldnt get a question like that wrong =(, i know my rates of change.

snowolf

choice A was

B = Rider 1
A = Rider 2

unless i’m mistken

I picked A

What was the answer to the first q on the last chem section?

it was like Br something lol

i chose choice A for the riders too, but i remember it as A=rider 1, B=rider 2

i also said it increases the potential energy

im going to sound idiotic…does a higher pH mean more acidic?

I didn’t have any of these^^ questions on my science section :S:S

increases potential energy from becoming more twisted?

What about the second bike rider question about who started at point p or something? What did you guys get for that?

checkmate, lower ph = more acidic; higher ph - more basic
