770 US History

Very niceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

My S got 740 on the Lit. Is that a respectable score?

Privileged, that's a very respectable score - even for Ivy League admissions. Anything 700+ is very good (especially for Lit, it has a very difficult curve when compared to the language, Math II, and some of the science tests). Anything 750+ is excellent, and of course, 800/800 is an 800/800.

Percentile is important too. An 800 on the Math II is still 88-91 percentile, while a 740 on the LIterature is like a 90-93.

Thank you very much AtomicLightbulb.

Boo. 790 Math IIC.
Oh well! Congrats all!

YES!!!
Math IIC 800

FACK.

Lit: 620
Math IIC: 670.

Did okay on Lit (thought I had gotten like a 400, lol). I'm appalled at my math score. I had thought it was easy. Yikes.

EWWWWW I bombed the Chem. Or did worse than expected. >O 720.

Excuse me while I slit my wrists in the corner.

Math IIc 800
whoo-hoo
seems like most other people got this score as well.

MATH 2C 800

Does anyone think I should retake my Biology (took E) and got a 710. :(
I studied a lot for it and it was just that hard for me. Dx There's still December for UC's.

Lit: 760
Math 2: 760
I'm impossibly happy. But I'm betting both curves were generous.
Question: you don't NEED near-perfect or perfect Subjects to look good for LACs, right? (I'm thinking Vassar, Wesleyan)

I heard anything above a 700 is considered decent and won't hurt you and 750+ (except probably math) looks really good.

Math Level 2: 800

Congrats to everybody else with an 800 :)

Math Level 2: 800...

Unmentionable horrible on the unnamed other 2. But, whilst taking these, I had just found out that I got a 33 on my ACTs, and the college I'm applying to doesn't need SATiis with ACT scores... so I was pretty apathetic about the whole thing.

I love making excuses.

Math Level 2: 800
Math Level 1: 710 (disappointed a lot.)
Physics: 770

Overall, I'm really satisfied with my scores, but a 750 from Math Level 1 would make me much more happier

Math IIC: 760
i am so close to a 770, damn i shouldve never guessed on the 3 problems i wasn't that sure
should i retake???
my first choice would be nyu Stern, how does that look to them?

mrtkcgl:
Why would you take Math Level 1 and Level 2? I've just never heard of anyone doing that. Level 2 is certainly harder than level 1, and an 800 on that will definitely be fine even with your 710 math 1.

chaz90:
For couple of reasons. I live abroad and this is my senior year. Unfortunately, I decided to study in U.S this august, so I don't have a lot of time for preparing other time needing subject tests such as biology or chemistry. Since I'm strong in math, I decided to take both of them. And also, nearly everyone takes both of them in where I live (Turkey), I just go with the flow :)

I am not at all familiar with the SAT Subject Tests. I got:

Biology E: 800
Math I: 740
Literature: 710

I'm a little dissapointed with the Lit score...

Are these scores good, or mediocore? Will it allow me to be competitive at any school???

Math Level 2 - 800 (doesn't get any better than that:D)
Math Level 1 - 790 (ugh, 10 points, but oh well...)
Literature - 700 (flunked it, retaking in Nov)
