Oct. Score Predictions Thread

Time to start!!! I'll go first-->

Subject Test/Predicted Score
Math IIC--800
Biology E--800
Physics--750 :D

Math IIC - I left 9 blank, missed ~3 for a raw score of about 37.
-700? (unreasonable?)

U.S. History - Left 1 or 2 blank, I'm sure I missed several
-730

Chem - Left 0 blank, but I think I missed a few
-710

I was wondering when this would show up.

My predictions and results from last May -

Physics: 790+ predicted, 800 actual
Chemistry: 780+ predicted, 800 actual

This time -

Literature: 770+ predicted
Mathematics Level 2: 740+ predicted (ouch..I underestimated this one, although I really hope I didn't misgrid!!)

Is literature like critical thinking on the SATs?

No, the Lit exam is alot harder. The SAT CR was very basic, but the Lit exam makes you read much faster and deeper into passages that are more difficult.

USHIST-800 (I think I missed 1-2)
LIT- 740+

Wow, I suck at critical reading. I would probably get destroyed in Lit

Predictions last year:
Biology E: 720, actual 790
Spanish: 780, actual 750

This year:
Math IIC: 680...? (left 12 blank, got some wrong)

Math Level II: 800
Chemistry: 570 :D
US History: 710

800 for Math II????? that test was freakishly hard!

@ star_s,
that would actually be around a 740

um...last time I took a subject test I grossly overestimated my score; thus, I'm going to predict low this time.

math II: around 730-750
Lit: err, let's not talk about this

@ Degeneration: If you think that CR answer choices are mind-bogglingly confusing and ambiguous, wait til you see Lit. I've never had to read into the nuances of wording so carefully in my life...and even then the choices were ridiculously badly worded to the point of uncomprehension. lol.

I completely agree about Math2 being hard. Although I'm glad I put the majority of my time into the Lit test since I'd rather have a high Lit score than Math2.

U.S. History: 780-790.

Math II: 780
US History: 800
Chemistry: 770
Spanish: ~650 (ugh)

uh IvyRomantic how did you take four tests?

does anyone know what the average curve is for United States History? I think i missed like 5 and i skipped like 3-4.

I took US History and Math II today, Chemistry and Spanish last time. I should have clarified (people were putting past scores). :)

the curve for us history is really nice.

math II prediction: 740

History curve from PR SATII book:

RAW:
90-81 - 800
80-79 - 790
78 - 780
77-76 - 770
75 - 760
74 - 750
73-72 - 740

My Predictions:

Math Level 2:
5 omitted, 5 wrong- score of 750+ I hope...

Physics: probably anywhere from 570 to 630... bad.

Bio:800
Math 2: 800
Lit:700-750?
