<p>I don't think we really know the answer to that. No one has gotten a straight answer on that specific question.</p>
<p>I am getting very confused. Will they be potsed at 6:00 EST or 6:00 CST?? Or some other time altogether???????</p>
<p>It should be CST since Northwestern is in the Central Time Zone. Then again, there is no specific time that everything is released. All straight answers from the admissions office have pointed at 6-7 PM CST.</p>

<p>I am 100% not lying, I wish to God I'd taken a screenshot. When I woke up this morning and checked my status at 7:50EST, I saw that I had in fact gotten in. There was an entire website built for accepted students, it seemed. But I was going to be late for school, so I left, but not before telling my parents I'd gotten in.</p>
<p>All day I haven't had time to recheck it at school and read all the info. So I came home right now psyched and hoping to see when NU Preview was, etc. But now I came home with the accepted website still up on my computer, and I clicked "Financial Aid Information" on the left side, and I got the typical "your session has expired" message. So, OK, I logged back in. </p>
<p>ONLY TO FIND THE SAME OLD We are pleased that you have decided to apply to Northwestern University. We have received your application to the Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences to begin study in Fall 2006.</p>
<p>WHAT GIVES!!! THIS MORNING IT SAID I WAS ACCEPTED!</p>
<p>Yeah *** man....someone clear this up for us. Did ANYONE see REJECTION this morning when they opened it up? almost EVERYONE here seems to have seen ACCEPTANCE...so maybe something might be wrong with the system .......</p>

<p>pummer and ForceFX....I wouldn't worry. People who called the admissions office today were told that results went online for a short period of time earlier today as a way of testing to see if it all worked. Why they didn't just leave them up is beyond me, but so far it looks like you were just lucky enough to go ahead and see your results.</p>
<p>They probably weren't all done. Otherwise they'd have no reason to wait.</p>
<p>God this is so frustrating. I called them and asked what was up, but they wouldn't confirm or deny my acceptance and just said "we've had some technical errors earlier, you'll get an email when decisions come out."</p>
<p>Do you honestly think they know? They are nearly a day late, I'm sure they're scrambling. They're not playing with you because they enjoy it. Calm down and find something else to occupy a few hours of your time, they might be up when you get back.</p>
<p>No, obviously, but they at least could've said that what was up earlier is in fact the final decision. I got the impression from the lady I spoke to that that may not be the case.</p>
<p>so if you did check this morning when many people did get acceptances and you saw the same thing, can you assume you won't be accepted? ahh i'm so confused. and frustrated!</p>
